I am pleased to share that I received exceptional care service from Gastroenterology Specialist of Dekalb Endoscopy Center, Mountain Drive location. The service was excellent from the initial visit- to the discharge nurse, who courteously confirmed the authorized individual to accompany me upon my release, and being escorted to the exit. Every staff member {including reception, appts. etc. demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and ensured my comfort throughout the experience. The facility maintained a high standard of cleanliness. Dr. Kavitha Gopal, the supervising physician, as well as another physician... Erin Hembree present prior to the colonoscopy procedure, the anesthesiologist, and her team, along with all perioperative nurses provided exemplary care. The instructions given pre and post procedure were clear and easy to follow. The physician also explained the post-procedure findings in straightforward language, making all aspects accessible, including medical terminology. The follow-up call from Janice was so appreciated. The Staff and Dr Harris were extremely attentive. I received several calls before my procedure to make sure I understood the process for my procedure, if I had any questions or concerns.
