⚠️ Horrible Experience – Neglectful, Unresponsive, and Completely Uncaring I’m warning anyone considering Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates – Hall County Endoscopy Center: do NOT go here. This place has been an absolute nightmare. They have completely neglected my health and ignored every attempt I’ve made to get help. I have Crohn’s disease, and my infusions are sitting ready at Publix Specialty Pharmacy—but this office refuses to answer the phone or call me back. I’ve left multiple voicemails for weeks now (over three weeks), and not a single response. My condition is worsening, and they don’t seem to care at all. This is not just bad service—it’s dangerous neglect. The staff is unresponsive, the communication is nonexistent, and Dr. Illys (spelling may be slightly off) has shown no compassion, urgency, or accountability. It’s as if they’ve completely forgotten that real people’s lives depend on their care. If you value your health, your time, and your peace of mind, avoid this clinic at all costs. They do not care about patients. They do not follow up. They do not communicate. It’s absolutely unacceptable that a medical facility can treat people this way. This office should be ashamed. I will never return and I strongly urge others to look elsewhere for care—anywhere but here.

I saw Dr creel for an upper endoscopy. He and his team were polite, and kind and very efficient. They got me in earlier than expected. Very easy procedure and awesome staff.

I arrived on time, checked in and watched as everyone who came in before are after me was taken back. Two hours later, I went to the desk to ask why I was still waiting. I was told there was a mixup and I’d been marked a “No show”. There is no reasonable excuse for not reaching out to a patient for a suspected “No show” via cell or text. That would have solved the problem when I answered from the waiting room. I refused to wait longer when they STILL couldn’t take me. Since I had to pay beforehand, I wanted my money back. That was a huge hassle as they don’t seem to be able to do that and don’t have anyone available in Finance. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

The entire staff at Atlanta Gastro Associates was extremely pleasant and supportive, as they presented an excellent bedside manner pre and post procedure. Dr. Kreel expressed his expertise with a confidence that radiated sincere kindness and genuine concern for my well-being . I have never felt more cared for by a medical team, which says a lot for the selfish society we are currently residing in. I would refer anyone who wishes to have premium care to Dr. Kreel and his staff at Atlanta Gastro Associates in Gainesville, GA. They are by far the best in their field!
