This place STACKS appointments and can’t keep up. There is only one doctor that does cataract surgery and the waiting room is filled with people. The first time we came, they called my husband back 45 minutes late. Today it is an hour and 20 minutes past our appointment time and we are still waiting. There are so many people here they had to bring out more chairs! Maybe try not being so greedy and schedule appointments accordingly! Oh and this place also has you drive almost 30 minutes to another location after the surgery to have your eye checked! That’s just crazy! Unless you have an entire day to waste, I recommend you find another place.

My wife had cataract surgery here. Wife was very stressed. Needless to say they are the experts here. Her outcome was good. Before you arrive you will have seen the doctor in the office. You should have your prescriptions filled before you arrive. You will need them right after the surgery. They also go over the cost, insurance, and legal before surgery. The day of surgery you don’t have to do anymore of this. Arrival-They keep the building very cool and they tell you upfront to bring a jacket. The patient must bring a legal companion to drive them home. When the patient is taken back to the area, you do not have to change out of your clothes. They put a gown over your clothes and a head covering. You are on a rolling bed with clean linen. They do the cataract procedure on 1 eye at the time and if the second is done it will be in 1 to 3 weeks. The actual procedure seems to be 5-15 minutes. They use “twilight anesthesia” so you will be dismissed quickly. Door to Door time is 2 hours. Then you are on the way home. Follow up with the doctor is the next day.
