Dr Casey is a fine doctor but the office itself is impossible to reach by phone. If you try to pay your bill through the portal it does not accept the information. As a business there should be someone to answer that phone during business hours. It doesn't matter if you call billing if you call the front desk no matter what extension you try to reach you have to leave a voicemail. Absolutely ridiculous way to run an office.
I work for a provider that sends probably around 4-5 patients per week AT LEAST to your facility. I have never heard any complaints and have always felt confidently in sending referrals here. Today has made me question this choice. I had a patient come there for an appointment and upon arriving, his daughter noticed an elderly man parked by the door sitting ON the compartment IN the door of his vehicle. The daughter asked if he needed help and he stated that he needed a wheelchair because he was unable to walk in. She went in to sign her father in and told THREE front desk staff TWICE about the situation outside their facility. She was ignored TWICE. The lady proceeded to get her father seated and take HIS rollator back outside to assist the man. The man tried to pay her and she refused. It was clear that he was in distress and she did what she had to do to help. With all this being said, I have to ask myself if this is also the type of treatment that our patients receive when going there? I will be speaking with the provider I work for and fill her in on this situation. If nothing else, basic humanity is free! The man obviously needed help and was left outside in the cold to just do whatever he had to do until there was an "available wheelchair." I do not know how long he had sat there or how long he would've sat there had it not been for this individual that helped him. What I do know is that there is no excuse for this. IF there was no wheelchair available to transport him in throughout your WHOLE FACILITY, there should have been measures taken to help him be properly seated back into his vehicle. That's it, end of rant.

After waiting 2 weeks and many calls and messages left I finally get an appointment. This is how that appointment went. I went in for the first time yesterday due to kidney stones, everyone was nice, professional, and seemed to care. Until the person I had the appointment came into the room. Still nice and polite, but made to feel as if I was just wasting their time. Yes, some stones are little and then there are some that are closer to being too big to pass. Here is my dilemma; I have a history of kidney stones, along with that history is that for some reason I don’t pass them on my own. One of the first things she say to me is “I’m not saying that you are not in pain, but when the stone are in the kidney they don’t cause pain, there must be another reason for my pain.” To be complacent, order an ultrasound. And that was the end of my appointment. I check out still in an ungodly amount of pain and nausea. I look at my appointment card, my follow-up is in 6 months. 2013 I was hospitalized because a stone blocked my kidney and I became sepsis. I am scared to death of this happening again.
I am obligated to share the beautiful experience I had in office and over the phone with this team. Not only is the medical service top tier, but they actually care about their patients as people. Thank you Melanie, Jennifer and Lyndsey for your kindness. You each made a difference for me at a very difficult time and I will forever be grateful. God bless each of you.
