The front desk checkin staff was courteous. The triage nurse was kind and helpful, even going out of her way to have compassion for me being sensitive to the cold temperatures and made sure I was warm. The anesthesiologist who happened to also be from Chicago helped calm my nerves by having me walk him through how I order my beef sandwich. For anyone anxious about the sleepy part this place made me feel so at ease. I was allowed to have my spouse with me until the procedure was going to begin. The doctor and assistant doing the colonoscopy were informative, knowledgeable, helpful, caring, inquisitive everything you could want or need from a medical staff. Waking up from the procedure the nurse was kind, kept me safe, and helped me with my husband to the car. For that I say thank you to this team, thank you for your patience, care, and expertise. This kind of care is worth the wait no matter how long in a waiting room, people matter most 🫶🏻

This was our first and last visit. My daughter who was having issues & this was the place that could see her before heading back to college. The wait time was short & office staff were pleasant and helpful. The doctor couldn't do simple things that I've had done at other gastroenterologist offices. Before examining her, she was already saying that she should have a colonoscopy and will probably need to see a colorectal surgeon (not what an already anxious teenager wants to hear...before even being examined). Again, we won't be back.

My 1st time going here and the Girl at the Front Desk left a BAD 1st impression with her Poor Attitude, & Lack of Communication! She gives No eye contact & Poor Customer service! Not to mention I was Scheduled to Arrive at 7:30 SHARP NO LATER, to have my procedure done at 8am! They didn’t open the building til 8 ( After watching them arrive & park, sit a while, then Slowly walk In.) Props to The Nurse Amber C. She was the Sweetest, most patient & caring! Unfortunately, I will NOT be returning to this Location. Dr. Lowe was awesome. Too bad he has to Wait to start procedures due to others slacking! -Disappointed

Had to come here for an endoscopy. The check in and procedure were fine. Most of the staff was helpful with the exception of the nurse anesthetist whose name starts with a B. She could use a few lessons on bedside manner and how she talks to people. I woke up with my FULL BODY itching from the anesthesia and she had the nerve to blame it on my eyelash extensions? Not sure how the two correlated and I was also pretty groggy from the anesthesia. The facility looks a bit old and outdated but I guess they do good enough work. It’s also a “privately owned” facility, so take that for what it’s worth. (They literally write your information on your arm band Instead of it being printed) If you can find somewhere else to go, I’d suggest it. If you can’t, remember to speak up and advocate for yourself.

I've worked in the medical administrative and billing field for 25 years. I've also had NUMEROUS procedures performed based on my family history. NEVER have I scheduled a GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy separately or the process takes 2-4 hours. My appt was 9am for a 9:30am procedure. I arrived on time and an hour later, I'm STILL sitting in the waiting room! My friend accompanied me which is REQUIRED and he had to be at work by 2pm. So I left! If you want to milk the insurance company which ISN'T illegal, so be it. But you WILL NOT inconvenience me in the process. I had to do a lot of rearranging for this appt while my grand daughter is virtually learning. I found another practice that performs BOTH prodecures AT THE SAME TIME. No referral here.
