Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

The staff was very kind. Laura, my pre op nurse helped make my surgery comfortable. Shout out to the whole team for making a very stressful day for me as easy as possible.

A heartfelt thank you On October 24th, I had a knee replacement surgery at the Roswell Surgery Centre. I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible nurses — Paulette, Sandi, and Eden. The level of care I received was truly exceptional; every detail and every question was handled with such kindness and professionalism. I felt completely confident that I was in the best hands. A special thank you to Paulette, who even checked in a few days after my procedure to ensure I was comfortable during my recovery. Your compassion and dedication made all the difference — thank you so much. ❤️

I’ve had two different visits here and both of them had been great. It’s a small facility close to home with very reasonable guidelines for patients and their transportation. I had surgery yesterday and once they verified I had a ride - they allowed her to leave rather than stay and just wait. They communicated well throughout the process. The entire team - from the scheduler to the care team was great. Super nice and very efficient.
