Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

I’ll admit, I walked into this office for my first appointment feeling incredibly guarded, anxious, and full of doubt. While they were running about 30 minutes behind schedule, the quality of care I received once I was called back made the wait completely worth it. The Staff I was greeted by one of the nicest nurses I’ve ever met. She was completely down-to-earth, and we had an immediate positive connection. She was genuinely attentive and seemed to truly care about my well-being. When I opened up about my fears, she was incredibly empathetic and reassured me that I was in good hands, mentioning that the doctor was very friendly. The Doctor She was right. The doctor arrived for my initial evaluation with a pleasant demeanor and a warm smile. She explained the plan of action in "plain English" rather than confusing medical jargon, which I really appreciated. She also took the time to insure me that I didn’t need to worry about the upcoming procedures. The Verdict I left the office with a completely different attitude. My anxiety has been replaced with confidence, and I feel certain that this team will take excellent care of me. Highly recommend for anyone who might be feeling a bit nervous about seeking care

I had a great experience at my doctor’s appointment. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The check-in process was smooth, and I didn’t feel rushed. Dr. Joseph took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and answered all of my questions. I felt respected and well cared for throughout the visit. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for attentive and compassionate care.

I will never go back to Alliance. This is a shame because Dr. Cable successfully helped me with my pain issues. If someone at their front desk had the foresight to explain payment options to me on the date of service, I would have made the clear choice of self-pay. Paying through insurance in November to meet my deductible so close to year-end would have never been my choice had they explained options. As it is, I am stuck with a bill nearly 4 times what self-pay would have been for the exact same service. The right thing to do on the date of service would have been to inform me of options beforehand. The right thing to do once they said the insurance claim had already processed would have been to reduce my out of pocket expense after insurance to the same amount that self-pay would have cost me. They did neither, and doing so, they lost a patient. There are plenty of healthcare options in the Atlanta area. Next time, I’ll find another one.
