I have never felt compelled to leave a review ever in my life. Until now. The actual doctors have been great. Reception on the other hand, terrible. I’ve never been offered sunglasses by them, if I leave a voicemail I’m never actually called back. I try to express how I really need my prescription sent to me just for no return phone call, no email, and just the words “we will hopefully get back to you soon.” I’ve had to go twice in one year yet no one can seem to find my glasses prescription. I’m also being charged twice for one visit and I’m just sick of the poor service I receive here. Again doctors are awesome, but that’s about it.

Counter reception staff is always helpful, friendly and professional. Wait time is minimal with a scheduled appointment. Our family likes David Anzai' and we've been with him for years. Knowledgeable, professional and with sound advice. We appreciate his compassion and kindness. Great Optometrist!

Dr Guild saw me on a Saturday just after I had arrived in Maui with a flare in my eye condition. I appreciate that he accepted a new pt w an urgent issue on a Saturday. This was a very helpful service and saved me hours in the emergency room. He provided great care with great education and explanations.

Really impressed with this Clinic! Kind, helpful staff - they got me in last minute for a corneal abrasion. Dr Guild was caring and professional. What stuck out the most was he offered education on what I was experiencing in a way I could understand, he clearly laid out the several options I had for treatment, and he made it clear it would be my choice in how I proceeded. He clearly values informed consent and patient autonomy, which I feel can be rare to find! I highly recommend him, and Aloha Eye Clinic in general.

First of all, I felt comfortable as I entered the door. I had a warm welcoming and after that I had more happy faces as I continued my appointment. Staff are very respectful. Dr Guild is quick to make sure I had all the information I needed about my eyes health. I felt comfortable talking to him.
