I recently had cateract surgery on both eyes. I was so pleased with the care and attention I received. Everyone from the front desk, admitting nurse, operating room nurse and anesthesiologists were absolutely amazing. Dr Welch is a fantastic doctor. They all gave me great care

Dr. Coombs was amazing. I had an emergency on a Friday afternoon and he saw me late on Friday, again on Saturday and Sunday. I was in surgery late Monday. He took his entire weekend and ensured I did not lose my vision or worse my whole eye. I cannot state enough positive attributes about the staff in the office. All of the staff were knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. I would have given 5+ stars if possible. As long as Dr. Coombs is affiliated, I will continuously recommend this office and any of his colleagues.

So i had a cataract surgery this morning. OMGosh! I read that man's lousy review and started to worry. I was nervous! No need! From the time i walked in until i was finished and being helped out to the car, it was so peaceful. I laughed and talked with the nurses, relaxed, went to surgery and went home! You can't beat this place. Ladies, I'll be back April 10th!!

Had my Cataract surgery done on one eye. Will do the second one next week. Staff is very friendly. I just barely sat down and they took me back. It only took a few minutes to get me ready and I didn't hardly have any wait time before they took me back to the OR. I was in and out in no time at all. Can't wait to go back and have the next one done. Nice, clean facility. Very nice people to take care of me.

Cataracts in both eyes. Absolutely dreaded the first surgery. Looking forward to the second one, so that I will be able to see this well out of both eyes. Seriously, the staff is great, highly skilled, kind, and I am so pleased with how the first surgery went. Update: The second surgery went as well as the first. My surgeon was Dr. Allan, and I am so grateful for him. My dread was my concern about having to watch the surgery happening (plus having EYE surgery!). My understanding is that you are conscious enough to follow directions, so I must have seen what was going on at the timer, but because of the type of anesthesia they used, I have no memory of it from either surgery. Some people remember the experience, but I do not. (Definitely silly when I arrived at the eye doctor’s office for the follow-up right after the surgery, but I have only shadowy memories from there.) Someone at the office later told me that some people who do remember aspects of the surgery have said that it was fascinating. I am extremely impressed and pleased with the kindness, efficiency, and level of expertise that I saw (and didn’t see) in the River View staff. I realized recently that I would be quite comfortable returning there if a different type of eye surgery were needed.
