I just finished my 5th or 6th lifetime colonoscopy at the hands of the finest gastroenterologist I have ever encountered, Michael Hersh, M.D., an Endeavor Health specialist who is privileged at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. Years ago I offered the copious encomiums, relative to another unaffiliated dolt through whom I had to suffer years ago, he so richly deserved and today's experience was no different. A finer physician with a better bedside manner exists nowhere. Speaking of privileges, a credentialed anesthesiologist involved in my care, Trevor DeSilva, M.D., is more than worthy of similar praise. I was deeply touched by the manner in which he explained every aspect of the procedure anestetically speaking and the care and concern with which he did so. I will not soon forget him, despite my almost immediate failure to remember even one aspect of past providers' attributes, tendencies or ostensible concern for me, the patient. Earlier today, I listened to him explain to another patient, who could not have his procedure post preparation and with the expectation of completion, with such care and painstaking detail that, before even encountering him yet knowing he would be "my" provider this day, I had a premonition of what I could expect. What a fantastic, caring, wonderful physician and human being. He strikes me as one who strives to give 100 percent of the best of himself in every activity to which he attends. To the degree that the following is even possible, this dynamic team, Doctors Hersh and DeSilva, will top of my list of requested providers the next time I return to this excellent center. The nurses and the procedure techs, everybody, in fact, that I encountered, start to finish, were fantastic. I can think of no better outcome than the one I encountered today, and, in this day and age where service providers of all types and across myriad professions, seem only to "show up" and ply their crafts devoid any real care or concern for those relying on their expertise, the experience gleaned today was as exceptional as it was/is elusive. I simply cannot recommend this facility and its exemplary providers, all of them, more effusively than I did above God bless all of you and Happy New Year!

I’m surprised by the negative reviews, but I can only speak for myself. I had a really good experience with this facility. Every single person I encountered was warm and friendly. The receptionist was pleasant, the nursing staff was outstanding, and the techs were also very nice. I had a procedure on Friday and they called me Monday morning to check & see if I was feeling okay or if I had any problems. I have no complaints and I would recommend this facility to friends & family.

No one responds to voicemails. I need to talk to someone. What is the point of a voicemail box if no one responds or calls back.

REVISED because a very negative review finally caused them to respond. I wish it hadn’t taken so long and so many calls but they have apparently resolved the issue…I may be back for an update. Original review: Just the worst customer service ever. I had a procedure done and some idiot wrote down my insurance group number incorrectly. I’ve been billed thousands of dollars as if I have no insurance due to one incorrect letter in my group number…BUT NOBODY WILL CALL ME BACK. Neither the billing department nor the actual facility will return my calls…Useless voicemail system promises texts and returned calls and does nothing.

No matter which prompt you choose, they all go into voicemail. I guess negative reviews are pretty confirming. I left a voicemail, so I am curious what does it mean to them "we will get back to you promptly". Not a good place if you can't even get a live person on the phone. I wouldn't be surprise its a same for billing based on other reviews!
