Patient Feedback / Complaint I had an absolutely frustrating experience with my procedure today. I arrived at 9:00 a.m. and did not leave until 2:45 p.m. My procedure itself only took about five minutes, and when I first arrived, there was only one person ahead of me. What made this unacceptable is the wait time. I was originally told one time, then it was changed, and the delays had nothing to do with my doctor. Dr. Piska was on time, ready to go, and wonderful as always. I want to make it clear that I do not blame her or the staff at all—they were kind, professional, and did their part. The issue was with the anesthesia doctor and another doctor who were not on time. When patients are scheduled for procedures or surgeries, all doctors involved need to be there early or on time. Otherwise, you risk losing patients and business. Meanwhile, patients and their driver are sitting there cold, hungry, and thirsty. We are required to fast for 8 hours, yet the waiting area has no real accommodations. At the very least, there should be a better TV, coffee, juice, snacks, and a comfortable environment for people and their families who may be waiting hours. The room is extremely cold and uncomfortable. I even met another patient, Kathy, who had been waiting since before me. Her sister had to drive more than two hours through heavy traffic just to sit there for hours as well. It’s not fair to patients or their families. Bottom line: This was the worst experience I have ever had with a procedure. I’ve had major surgeries in full hospitals that were fully booked, yet I was in and out faster than today. The delays are not acceptable and need to be corrected. I truly love the location, and the staff is excellent, but the scheduling and timeliness of the doctors must improve immediately.

When a armed security guard is station outside the school next play ground . Really zero parking. Street is like winning the lottery. Very bad location. Then the security guard has his white Tahoe parked in the medical parking lot!!

I've had three procedures there. I'm a big scardy cat when it comes to anything medical, let alone surgical procedures. I'm very happy to say that everyone at Hyde Park Surgical Center has been incredibly accommodating, well mannered, and professional. In short, the staff there have made my surgical procedures a painless process. The doctors are especially attentive and professional. My Dr. there is Dr. Mark A. Farag. He's been very good.

This place is so unprofessional. The Doctor clearly does not know what he’s doing because he’s always backed up by HOURS. Sat and waited for my Husband to be taken back for almost two hours. Disgusting!!! Staff clearly does not care if you’re waiting. They’re too busy snacking and chatting it up! DO NOT COME HERE!!!!
