I just took my friend there for her first surgery and the staff was amazing! Nurses Claire and Sarah were amazing! From pre-op to post-op, they were very accommodating and helpful! Answered all of our questions, eased my friend’s nerves, and made sure my friend was well taken care for. Amazing staff!

Brought my father in law in for surgery. And all the staff was extremely bitchy and rude for no reason. Don’t try to ask them any type of questions because you’ll just get an attitude in return. I am not impressed. You people Chose to work in the health field helping people. If you don’t like people choose a different career path.

Everyone was very unprofessional and rude. A few days before surgery a lady called and went over everything, I had some questions about my daughter being able to come into recovery and I was told yes when I wake up she can come in.Now the day of surgery I asked again and was told the same thing I also made sure they understood the urgency behind asking as my daughter lost her dad and has severe anxiety she would need to be allowed to see me right away. So after I was awake in recovery for over an hour she wasn't allowed to see me there was no staff in sight so she went and got some groceries came back and she was told I was awake and having trouble breathing and she could not see me. Mind you I have no idea this is going on. My daughter left to go home and put away the groceries we only live 5 min away ok.The nurses become enraged that my daughter left and now they want her here right now because they wanna go home. The nurses then proceed to try to force my leg with a prosthetic knee and the same leg I just had ankle surgery on into some device to think they were going to force me into an ambulance and have me transported across the street to there low class hospital even though I told the nurse no I refuse to get in an ambulance my daughter was 2 min away she then told me I didn't have a choice and kept trying to forcefully take my left leg I just had an operation on I was starting to panic and my daughter was on the phone hearing everything she hung up on me called the new lenox police and reported an attempted kidnapping. You see the emt can not transport any person against there will it is kidnapping and my daughter knew this and decided to take action. It's been a few months I'm still unable to walk and seeking legal counsel don't go here unless you want your family as well as yourself to be traumatized and hurt right after your procedure

I was at the Silver Cross Surgery Center on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 and had the best groupd of nurses and staff that one could ask for. Every person that entered my room was kind, considerate and very informative on what was and will happen to me during my prcedure. I was very nervous and scared and all who were in contact with me assured everything was going to be fine. I was treated very nicely nd would recommend the facility to all. My doctor was the best and I was in and out of the center just as they had said. Smooth going from the start to finish. Thank you all for the kind service you prvided to me during my procedure. Mary

We have had two wonderful experiences at silver cross surgery center. The first for my 1 yo son who had an ear tube procedure and the second for my 4 yo daughter who had her adenoids and tonsils taken out. The staff is so wonderful with kids- especially the nurses Denise, Rose, Joann, and September. The center runs very efficiently, is extremely modern and clean, and they have great pre and post op communication.
