Had both cataracts removed here. Both appointments all of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. One nurse in specific even remembered me from three weeks prior. She was professional and made me feel like I would be well cared for while I was there quelling my pre surgery anxiety. I’m terrible with names so although I can remember everyone giving me their names, I can’t put a name with her face. I believe she was the only obviously Asian nurse working there. I hope this helps identify her as she needs to be commended and thanked.

My doctor was fantastic but the whole experience was so bad that I would not go there again. I address the my concerns about an acid reflux condition and anxiety issue. The nurses were not friendly and were not efficient. The anesthesiologist was insincere and said she would take care of it, but that did not happen. I woke up in the middle of the surgery and heard everything that was being said about it. Over a year ago, I had the cataract surgery on my left eye in the anesthesiologist totally knocked me out and relax me from any anxiety issues . After the surgery, they asked me if I wanted something to drink and I asked for a Coke which they brought me and it was not even cold a bit.. There were other issues that I have not stated, but it was a total nightmare experience other than my eye doctor doing a great job on the surgery.

Service was great. Billing not so much. Was told my copay for procedure was 208.55 and paid that the day of surgery. Now getting a bill for 213.40 more. All I could get out of the billing department was yes I see where it says your co-pay would be 208.55. Sorry we were WRONG!! Had both eyes done, same procedure same day, same surgery suite but charged double!! That doesn't count the surgeons cost and anesthesia!! Make them put it in writing!!

I recently had surgery and Dr Sniegowski and the entire staff were amazing. It was honestly the best customer service i have ever received during an outpatient procedure. They were all very caring, friendly and professional the entire time. I was so concerned about being awake during my procedure and they were able to calm me down, made me feel comfortable and the Dr actually called me from his person cell phone to check on me the following day as well as nurse too! Great service!!

Sabates employees really dropped the ball on what should have been a fairly straightforward procedure on a Friday afternoon, and all they wanted to do was pass the blame around or to blame me. 10 days before a scheduled surgery, I received a phone call from the dr.s scheduler asking if I would move my surgery to a sooner date and it would be in the afternoon since they had a cancellation. I was hesitant, as I had multiple health concerns to consider but I was assured I would go first that afternoon, so I agreed. BIG MISTAKE! Somehow my "papers" never made it the surgery center, so I was not put on the schedule. It was not discovered until I called the day before surgery and asked why I had not heard from anyone. Now, I was considered an add-on, I was going to be the last patient, When we got there, the doctor was running 1 1/2 hours behind. When my sugar started to drop while waiting in the lobby (we had a nurse check it), we decided to leave as I have hypoglycemia. When I called the scheduler to reschedule, I was told it would almost 3 months until I could, and when I asked the scheduler for an earlier date, she told me there was nothing she could or would do, and she had a real attitude. So, when I called the office manager, she started giving me the song and dance about the doctor runs late because he does good work etc.,and she was sorry my paperwork got lost after "I" changed my surgery date and had I stayed, they could have started and IV and given me sugar. She also told me that for my next surgery time, I should eat better to keep my sugar from dropping. My response was: the nurse who checked my sugar never gave us the option of the IV and sugar, I told the office manager I have had hypoglycemia for 35 years and had been able to manage it so far, maybe it was going 10 hours without food may be the cause of my sugar dropping. Then I said that given how much the Sabates employees screwed up, I should be allowed to re-scheduled a lot sooner than 3 months. It does not matter, because I am not going back there.!
