Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

CystoscopyA thin camera passed through the urethra examines the bladder lining. Used to investigate blood in the urine, recurrent infections, or urinary difficulty. The procedure takes only a few minutes and is often done with numbing gel rather than sedation.Kidney Stone Treatment (Lithotripsy)Shock waves break a kidney stone into fragments small enough to pass in the urine. No incision is required. Passing the fragments over the following days can still be uncomfortable, and a temporary stent is sometimes placed to keep the ureter open.Transurethral ResectionTissue is removed through the urethra using a scope, with no external incision — most commonly to relieve urinary obstruction from an enlarged prostate, or to remove bladder tumors. A catheter typically stays in place briefly afterward.VasectomyCircumcisionProstate ProceduresA group of treatments addressing an enlarged prostate blocking urine flow, ranging from steam and implant techniques to tissue removal. Options differ meaningfully in recovery time and in their effect on sexual function — worth discussing specifically.

I had an appointment this morning with Dr. Laki at 8 AM. I arrived at 7:50, checked in, was taken back to one of the rooms and my blood pressure taken. Dr. Laki came in at 8:13. I had my next appointment scheduled and was back in my car at 8:24. Getting in and out of a doctor’s office in such a timely manner is a rarity. Thanks to the staff and Dr Laki!

Doctor was professional, friendly and caring. Procedure he recommended was completed. Great follow up. He did a great job of setting expectations for surgery and outcomes.

Very poor care standards, this office provides little as possible details and will leave you completely without pain medication to manage recent surgeries as soon as 2 days after procedures. All feedback given is retroactive and they truly do not seem to care. Dr Evangelidis and his PA Jeff do not seem to have their patients best interests at heart when tending to post surgery issues, even when told of pain symptoms persisting for over 2 weeks they do nothing other than tell you to take excessive amounts of Tylenol and ibuprofen only to wind up blaming those same things when complications arise. Any other facility would be a far better choice, even if travel is required to receive proper care

Dr. Evangelidis was thorough and thoughtful throughout the process. He listened to my concerns. The nurse practitioner, Amy Muesborn, was incredibly kind and understanding when doing my work up. Since my surgery the majority of my symptoms have gone away. I would recommend this group!

Having worked in several doctors offices over 40 years I feel qualified to say Dr. Evangelidis' and his staff, medical and business office, gave me the utmost care and consideration. As uncomfortable as the procedures were, the nurses made me feel at ease. Everyone hit all the right notes in terms of cleanliness, professionalism, knowledge and concern regarding modesty.
