Staff are nice but outside commication sucks. Sometimes you'll get an answer a day or two later. Sometimes never🤷🏼‍♂️ I'm very disappointed with them for their commication.

Doesn't call you back for weeks at a time or at all when you are desperately trying to figure out a treatment you can afford. Does not participate in SF Purple Card program for much needed procedures and tells you $10,000 out of pocket cost like everyone can afford that, no big deal. On my 1st appointment I waited an hour for the Dr. to come in after being called to the back. Uncaring and does not communicate.

Lacks communication. Saw Dr. Smith and he was good the first time and then he had me see his nurse practitioner. She was making plans on my next step when Dr. Smith came in shot down her ideas and wanted to go straight to procedures that I did not want instead of non-invasive procdures we were discussing. I will not go back. Matucci saw my brother over a year ago for emergancy kidney stone surgery. The stent was left in over 3 months while we were guven the runaround with office staff ti srt up an appointment. After this scar tissue has caused 90 percent function loss in one kidney. So thank you *NOT* we will never be back there.

I’ve dealt with both Dr. Smith and Dr. Payne and want to emphasize what great humans and bedside manner these two Drs have. A frequent flyer with kidneys stones have landed me in Dr. Smiths hands several times. He’s always SO kind and informative when it comes to information and making his patients feel at ease. Here recently I had to have a surgery with Dr. Payne and was greeted with the same luxury and bedside manner. Very informative, kind, caring and knowledgeable. Made sure I knew what I was going into before procedure and explained everything until I was fully aware and understood the meaning/what was going on. I really do feel in this era, these attributes are hard to find when dealing with doctors. These two doctors truly care about their patients and it shows on every level. The staff they have working behind the scenes with scheduling/billing etc is just as kind. I would recommend anyone needing great Drs in the area for these same services to definitely give these Drs a view. You won’t be disappointed.

Ive been in pain with kidney stones for 3 days, blood in the urine lower back pain; I cannot afford to continue to go to the local hospital for care, even with insurance, so I waited, hoping to get care. There was no communication from the office this afternoon and I called four times. The first time I was rudely sent to a ringing phone by front office staff and the second time I was hung up on. I called back asking to speak with the office manager and of course I was told she was not available. I asked to speak to a nurse and was greeted with a voicemail. There is no compassion for patients, rude office staff with the exception of 2 previous people (Cathy-this morning and 1 previous provider) I had good communication with.
