I have had two upper endoscopy's done at this place, neither visit was good. The staff was rude. I had Dr. Zayat both times and was not given any sort of pain relief after I had 6 esophageal verices banded. It was one of the most painful experiences I've ever had and was given nothing to alleviate the pain once I left. I asked several times if there was anything they could prescribe to help with the pain and was completely dismissed. I know there are lidocaine syrups and other things that can be used, but they all require a prescription. I will never return to this facility.

This was my first time and I was very scared as a cancer survivor. Every single person there was so sweet, so kind and comforting. I greatly appreciated the nurses and the doctor was just wonderful. It was fast, I felt safe, and cared for. The doctor understood my fears and was very reassuring and confident. I’m very thankful for this positive experience!

Dr. Winnie SHEU is the best. She’s very compassionate and caring and listens to you. The nursing staff in the endoscopy colonoscopy center were amazing. Also, I would recommend this practice and I don’t do that often of any medical center Or scope of practice.

I recently relocated from the Wichita area but saw Dr. Lievens for 7 years. The entire office is friendly, professional, and most importantly, caring. I wouldn't be here today had it not been for Dr. Lievens and will always speak highly of him.

I've been a patient of Doctor Lievens for 10 yrs. He and the staff at Kansas gastroenterology are professional and friendly. The office is at the corner of Webb and K-96. The office which was Teds a buffalo steak house is absolutely beautiful. Very clean and comfortable.
