My daughter recently had surgery at Greenview Surgery Center to repair her shoulder. We had a great experience here. Everyone we encountered during the process, from the lady at the front desk to the person that brought her out to the car to go home, was professional and kind. I appreciate the efforts made by the staff there to make sure things went smoothly.

My son had an ACL repair performed by Dr Heltsley and things could not have gone more smoothly. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at ease and treated us as if we were family. It’s obvious this team truly cares about their patients. Dr Conley (our anesthesiologist) even phoned the day after surgery to check up on us. Our community is fortunate to have the Greenview Surgery Center.

My experience was very professional. They were very nice. I only had one issue. I want to apologize for having my phone on today. It would be so much better for the elderly if me and the nurse was looking eye to eye. She was letting me know what I needed to do. I couldn't hear every single word. People was walking everywhere and I didn't know who the nurse was talking to them. Us old people can't hear like we use to. Our attention span is like a puff of smoke. Please forgive me. My Dad always said. "Once an adult and twice a child. 🙂🙏 Not to mention I didn't sleep well. I was anxious about the unwanted visitor coming off the roof of my home, Niagara Falls. I know that is no excuse. So again I apologize.

I was in today for my second D&C due to miscarriage. Although a couple staff could use some sensitivity training, they didn’t know what I was going through so it was easy to forgive. The nurses and anesthesiologist with me in the Operating room were so genuinely caring and kind. They were sympathetic to my situation and reassuring that I was with safe and that they were going to take care of me. I did find that the other staff more so treated us like business as usual. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t want to sit there and cry the whole time, but not many people checked to see if I was okay mentally. I know they have surgeries all day (obviously), but I feel like there some be a note on patients’ charts like mine to evaluate mental states and ensure the patient feels comfortable. This kind of procedure is one that the little details will stick with a person forever.
