The staff at the surgery center was OUTSTANDING!!!

The people that work here are unprofessional and have no sense of understanding. A family friend took my 90 year old grandmother with dementia in to have a cataract removed today and before my mom could get there to help her with her paperwork she decided to do it herself. She has no sense of time that has passed or even what day it is really but of course she doesn't realize it. There is a question on the form about if she has bed bugs and she answered yes to it because her senior living complex had an infestation 5 YEARS AGO! Like anyone would answer yes to that question anyway even if they did currently have bed bugs. My mom tried to explain to the staff that she only answered yes because she interpreted the question as if it was asking if she EVER had bed bugs and all my gma knows is that at some point in her 90 year life, the facility she lives in had an outbreak so they treated everyone's unit no matter if they had any known bugs in their unit or not, which she didn't. They didn't want to hear it and just stuck with their pathetic excuse of "it's our policy" even after the situation was explained. Do not go here if you want rational humans to understand logic once explained.

Had cataract removed there today. It was so well run and efficient. The entire staff from the receptionist to all of the medical were so helpful and pleasant! They were very good at their responsibilities and wanted to make sure I was comfortable and fully aware of what was going on. So pleased that Dr Pataar with the Eye Care Institute uses this center for performing surgeries!

This was my absolute best experience ever in a surgical center. the staff was amazing they treated me like they truly cared. I could not have asked for any better care they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. I highly recommend this facility if you ever need any thing done

A relative of mine went to have surgery. When they asked what drugs were going to be administered, the anesthesiologist did not answer. He was condescending and vague, stating "You will feel good, don't worry about it." They asked repeatedly and received the same type of answer. This person has had bad reactions to anesthesia in the past and was legitamitely concerned and scared. Disregarding her request repeatedly, they administered the medication. Whene they woke they was paralyzed and hallucinating. They couldn't stand or talk. It took the medication over a day pass through their system. It is unacceptable to deny disclosure of anything asked from the patient. The patient should be treated with respect and dignity. No one needs to feel patronized and anxious. If I could give a negative star as a rating, then I would do so. If you have the option to go anywhere else, I suggest you do so.
