This is the worst surgery center in Baton Rouge. They overbook and have no compassion for the patient. Had my first cataract surgery there and it was a nightmare! Also, after the surgery, they call 5-6 patients’ drivers at one time(which causes several vehicles to back up waiting to pick up patients.

Had to pay upfront for specialty lens which I didn't end up needing when I had cataract surgery at the beginning of December. I used my credit card. I called after my surgery to ask about my refund and was told request had been sent to billing. Instead of refunding the amount back to my card stated I would have a check mailed. The refund was not submitted for processing until Jan 25th and then was told it would take another 2-3 weeks for the refund check to be sent to me. So they took the funds from me within 24 hrs but wouldn't refund them for over 2 month!

Dr Nelson and staff were phenomenal. He is just the BEST eye doctor I have ever encountered, he did my Cataract surgury ,he has the nicest bed side manner and his staff are just wonderfull, they never tired of my repetitive silly questions ! Thanks to you all ! Janet Felks

Staff was not considered of family members time are patience didn't keep family member inform of the status of patient for 2 hours 45 min this is not exceptable
