Everything was great. I got in and out of there quick for my ankle surgery I had this morning 11/7/2024. I’ve never been cut before and everyone tried to comfort me before I went in even though I was very emotional and scared and crying till I passed out. Woke up after and was in immense pain and was crying pretty bad because of how much I was scared, in pain, and just woke up from anesthesia. I had nurses come in that I eventually was told that weren’t even ASSIGNED to care for me, coming in my recovery area essentially telling me to shut up because I was “disturbing” other patients. Saying as well “well yea you just had surgery you’re gonna be in pain. Crying and hyperventilating is not gonna help anything” I’m sorry but I had just woken up out of general anesthesia, was in a ton of pain, in shock, upset that my injury had happened, all the emotions and I was told to shut up. I had a lovely nurse that WAS assigned to me and thank god for her being so kind and reassuring me that how I was being talked to was uncalled for and wrong. I’m happy that I’m not fixed. Not happy with the nurses that were coming to me saying I needed to shut up while just being natural and expressing myself. I tried to be nice and respectful but I couldn’t help but express myself. It’s not wrong to be sensitive to things like this. This was an invasive and traumatic experience for me and they made it worse post surgery.

Never hand a true problem except for their time management skills. This last time they said “oh you going to only be here for an hour and a half.” I’ve had multiple family members that has had surgery here for different reasons, I’m always here for HOURS waiting on them. This last one took FIVE hours instead of that hour and a half. All I say is to give us a realistic time of how long we’ll probably be here, not some b.s. answer.

Very clean and up to date facility. Every staff member was super nice from check in until I was helped into the car to leave. My nurse, Lori, was awesome. I could never say enough good things about my care there. Highly recommended. Thank you staff for your kindness and professional services.
