The procedure was great. Front office staff has no clue what they’re doing. I was told I could not use the restroom due to a policy that people who are on pain meds have to do a urine test. If anybody had looked at my chart, I was not on any pain meds. Also, there were multiple appointments, including my surgery, where I did not get a confirmation call. I had to call to confirm that I had my appointment day of. I was told by many people that you guys are the best in the area and there’s a part of me that wishes I would’ve went with Ochsner because I wouldn’t have so much confusion and difficulty with the front of office staff.

It was nice clean facility. The nurses were very knowledgeable and helpful. They made me feel very comfortable while getting ready for my procedure. The doctor did a great job and had good bedside manners in the recovery room.

The staff went out of their way to make me feel completely comfortable. Very friendly. Dr. Kathy Ta, who preformed my surgery was exceptional. She is highly knowledgeable, caring and a true professional at what she does. I highly recommend her and the team at AVALA.
