Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

Procedure list is based on CMS-reported specialty designations. Contact the facility to confirm specific procedures offered.

one star because the clerical staff was so last minute and less than accommodating... but then again neither is Dr. Webb's clerical staff... nearly wasn't able to follow through with the surgery, with regard to the medical staff, as far as i can tell, i give them five stars... no one is in a good mood when they are having medical issues and all of the people behind the curtains were more than wonderful, helpful, and pleasant!!

I’d sooner have surgery in a third world country than have surgery here again. Surgery is performed in a big open room with about 20 gurneys separated only by curtains. On the day of my surgery, about 10 procedures were going on at the same time. They had me on my stomach before my procedure so I could see everything going on in the room. Across the room from me, an elderly lady was trying to put her shoes on with a surgery happening just on the other side of her curtain. What would have happened if she had stumbled?! There were half a dozen staff members wandering around from curtain to curtain, none of them wearing gloves, so there’s no way it’s a sterile environment, and with all those people moving around, it has to be distracting for a surgical team. Four years ago, I had a four hour surgery in Houston in a private operating room with an overnight stay and no insurance and it was less expensive than my procedure here. This place really needs to be shut down.
