They try to make you come from across the state just to waste your time and charge you for it. Very rude workers on the phone.

Frustrating experience. As a patient for several years I was never disappointed with my visits - until now. I always try to be respectful at doctor visits by showing up on- time, turning off my cell phone and waiting patiently for the doctor. I found it very disrespectful to us as patients - to be left in the exam room after the technician did the preliminary tests - for an HOUR. I kept asking if they forgot me or what? They said the doctor was running a little behind. An Hour is not a little. It was well before lunch so how did it get so bad so quickly? Did they book too many patients? There were 2 other patients walking the halls after waiting excessive amounts of time. We were all frustrated. I would have left but they had already dilated my eyes. The staff should have informed us upon arrival of this issue and given us the chance to reschedule. At the very least we could have been told of the expected wait time - so we could make phone calls or even spend the time playing a silly game on our phones to pass the time. (Except for our eyes being dialated). I think doctors offices should respect their patients and just be honest with them. Things happen, delays happen, communication can solve the problem and avoid unnecessary frustration. When i voiced my concerns to the doctor she said she "appreciated the feedback"! Really? This cannot be the first time it has happened - it doesn't need to be analyzed- it's just common courtesy.

My wife had cataract surgery on both eyes. The first went well. The second eye has been horrible! She had the problem that she was awake and the eye was bloody. The next morning we was back and they made an appointment with a retina specialist. SHE WAS SEEN BY THE SPECIALIST THAT DAY! Because she had a staff infection from more the likely the lack of sterile utensils or something else not being sterile. This was done in June. She had to have retina surgery on January 7 to fix the problem. For something that they caused and we have to eat the cost for a specialist. this is unacceptable. So if I could give no stars, I would.

My husband had eye surgery there which went well, the 1 star is a reflection of the billing services at the surgical side not the eye care side. The day of surgery they inform us of copays due which I informed them we have met all deductibles. They made us pay or go home. We paid and the surgery went well no complaints. Several weeks after surgery I speak with them about the copay we paid… they acknowledged their error and said they would request a refund…. To this day I have not received it! It’s been 2 months. They wait until all insurances pay, even though they know they made an error. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
