I was extremely pleased with the staff and the evaluation they performed for an upcoming surgery. They treated me as if I was a 'special' patient and kept me very informed as the evaluation progressed such that I didn't have any follow-up questions. They were very friendly and personable which enhanced my visit.

I had a great experience with Dr. Hahn and team before, during, and following my LASIK surgery. They were professional, accessible, and transparent with details, pricing, etc. They made sure I had ample opportunity for my questions to be answered and informed me about every detail. I was pleased to get a call from Dr. Hahn the evening after my surgery to check up on me and see if I had questions. I would definitely recommend others!

Everyone here - receptionists, nurses, anaesthetist, and surgeon (Dr. Bozorg) - was professional, efficient, and personable. Sometimes even fun :) I felt confident that everyone was doing their best for me. I hadn't felt that in a long time. If you're worried about getting cataract surgery, go here ASAP. The result is spectacular, esp if you've worn thick glasses for 60 years. For me, it was worth five long treks from the north country.

I want to thank Maine Eye Center for the quick response and the care that was given to a family member. From the call with Jim in triage, to the last person we saw (a janitor) everyone was so caring and helpful. The office was beyond busy, but we were still seen with smiling faces. Thank you to the woman covering in reception, the techs, nurses, and doctors! Was it a long wait? Sure was, but it was worth it to receive the care we did!

Unfortunately, my experience has been a disaster! I had a consultation with Dr Libby mid-October for cataract surgery only to be told he was retiring at the end of the year. He was wonderful and personally assured me he would make sure I received my surgery. The scheduler never called me, when I called them I was told he had “no room” in the surgery schedule. I spoke with a “manager” Cory who was going to help find a solution. It took several follow up calls initiated by myself and I was offered an appointment to with Dr Bozorg for a “meet and greet” before she would be performing my surgery. I was reassured by Cory that he would “make sure” I was scheduled for the surgery before the end of the year. I went to the appointment with Dr Bozorg, wasn’t seen until well over a hour after my scheduled time. I was informed by her assistant that I would not be scheduled before the end of the year, contrary to what I have previously been told, she said she would ask Cory to follow up with me. It’s been another week, I have left him a voicemail with no response. Will someone please communicate with me?
