My appointment was scheduled for 8:10am, 9:10am, still waiting. I asked how much longer and the issue is short staffing. I understand this happens, but tell your customers that instead of having them wait for an hour. Don’t overbook your schedule if you can’t handle the patient load. Over 15 people in the waiting room— Common courtesy goes along way. Unfortunately will not be coming back here. Very frustrating to have time wasted.
Dr. Tran is amazing! He is pleasant, informative, and is patient with answering questions. He took his time with me and was sympathetic. I will recommend him to my friends and family!
I called on a Tuesday for an appointment for double vision. I was seen that Thursday by Dr. Byron. Not only did I receive the most thorough exam of my eyes ever, Dr. Byron was great! He was so informative and really put my mind at ease. The woman at the front desk who scheduled my next appointment was just as kind and helpful. I am so glad I found this practice!!
This is more directed for the optical department. Dr Byron is great but the optical department needs to be removed or they need to partner up with a different company. I ordered contacts immediately after my appointment. 2 weeks later still no call about them coming in. I call and ask if they come in or status and they just say nope not in. I said ….. ok? So it’s been 2 weeks how long does it take? They look into it and have zero record of my purchase. They ask to call me back to look into it, didn’t call me back and no you didn’t leave a voicemail. So I had to call them back for the status. They then expected me to come in providing proof that I bought them. I asked do you have late hours? No. Saturdays? No. Can I email? No. Can I fax? No. So I need to take a day off work because of your mess up? The woman I spoke to had zero care and said I’m just the front office answering the phone. So I asked to be put through to a manager. She transfers me and it hangs up. Finally get to the manager, Tammy, instant attitude. I explain I’m frustrated that she has no email no fax and because her people messed, I have to go out of my way. She then proceeds to tell me I CAN email her my receipt. So why did your employee tell me I cant? “Oh she’s new”. So that’s an acceptable excuse? You’re her manager train her properly. “Well this has never happened before. Ok so why is she new trying to handle a situation that isn’t common by herself?” TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE CORRECTLY. The manager then looks into it and guess what found my receipt and order. I ask what happened? How can this possibly happen that I’m told over and over again that they don’t have my order and I need to provide actual proof of my order. She said some BS answer of miscommunication. We’ll see if my order actually shows up, not holding my breath. Do yourselves a favor and don’t order your contacts or glasses through them. Just go to Costco or Walmart.
I have been seeing Dr. Protzko for many years, but it has always been at the Bel Air office. Recently, I went to the Havre de Grace office. First, I must say that the parking at this location is excellent. Next, the layout of this office was very pleasant and more "homey". I believe that was because it's a smaller office. Everyone I met there, from the ladies at the front desk, to the technician who did a lot of the preliminary examination, to Dr Protzko himself, was pleasant and professional. It was more relaxed and that made for a much more enjoyable visit. I was so impressed that, when I was finished, I made my next appointment at that office. Wonderful location! Wonderful staff!
