I did not have a good experience with this Urology office. I waited over 30 minutes to attend my appointment. When I did get seen, my symptoms were dismissed as gynecological. I also never actually saw the doctor I was billed for seeing. I understand doctors are busy and NP often see patients, but I should therefore be billed for seeing the practitioner I actually saw. I only realized this because instead of billing my insurance, which is all information I filled out during intake, they sent my bill straight to collections. I had to call their office repeatedly, because no one would answer the phone, to finally get to someone who corrected their administrative/billing mistakes. Then after that, it still It took me months to get collections to stop calling me and contact their office about their billing mistakes.
I’ve been calling for a month and have left voicemails and still no call back. I self cath and the doctor that initially filled my prescription for my catheters has since left so the medical company has stop shipping my supplies. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
Would not recommend if you have any mobility issues. There is only one entrance that is open and there is not communication on how to get there if you are handicap accessible. We got to the hospital at 9:45am but could not make it to the urology office until 10:15. The office did not answer after four calls made. I eventually had to call the other urological office on Redwood St. and she told us that they had valet and parking options. When I brought this up with the main office during our 2.5 hour wait she said that it's their policy not to inform of these options for support because they are not always available and she does not know when they are open. The nurses are polite and caring but it's too much for someone with handicap problems.
