While surgery is never a fun experience, I can’t speak highly enough of SCSC. The receptionists worked with me on multiple occasions to ensure my paperwork was on file, and consistently provided clear guidance. When it came time for surgery, Dr. Montemarano’s skill was so apparent. It is rare to find a doctor with such a wonderful combination of medical talent and bedside manner. He went above and beyond (in what I’m sure was a long day for him) to perform my surgeries in a way that worked best for me. He made me feel comfortable, explained every step clearly, and even called to check up on me after surgery. Shreya was an absolute professional the entire day, and went out of her way multiple times to ensure my comfort and make my surgery a success. She fielded all my questions, even tracking down additional team members for information when needed. I’ve never felt like my health was taken so seriously, and really appreciate the entire team! My experience was very positive. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The doctor explained everything as she did the procedure, which calmed me down. She was warm and kind and explained options. I was really surprised when I received a phone call in the evening from her, checking to see how I was. Her assistants were equally kind, friendly and professional And…. I liked the music they played… it was from my era Being able to sing along with “help me Rhonda” took my mind off the skin she was scraping from my face.
