Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this place as possible. The DR I saw (Ernest) didn't listen to a word I said at my appointment. Never did a follow up from an ER visit, ( yes I called). It's a rush you in rush you out kind of practice from my experience. I should have known better than to even try this office with a 2.7 rating. You live and you learn I guess
Extremely disappointing experience with Belinda at the urology office in Hagerstown.Belinda repeatedly talked over me, dismissed what I was saying, and argued with me every time I tried to give important information. Instead of listening, she kept interrupting and disputing the details I was providing.
I had my first visit here and everyone was amazing. I had an appointment with Jodi and she was excellent. She explained everything so well, made sure I didn’t leave with any questions and went out of her way to get me worked in to the schedule for a procedure. I seen Dr. Johnson for my procedure and he was great as well - the nurse Christy was very personable and down to earth which was a huge plus. The rest of the nursing staff & receptionists were all friendly and welcoming, as well! Very pleased with my experience!
Honestly, Dr John was a great surgeon for my mother, though I felt his bedside manner was a bit cold. My review is actually of the admin side. I have received multiple threats to be sent to collections for bills that have been paid online, but apparently just "got lost" in the system. They show up on my credit card bill, but not in the system. At this point, my mother has been dead nearly a year and I have told the billing office as much; yet they continue to threaten collections as I try to navigate the confusing process of Washington county estate law. Ever since this group integrated with the hospital, it's been a nightmare trying to figure anything out. I received a letter today that threatened to send her to collections for the last time that was dated April 1, 2025 in an envelope postmarked July 1, 2025. Not sure why it would take 90 days to postmark a single sheet of paper...
Horrible. It is absolutely impossible to pay your bill to them as their billing lady is there only Mondays and Fridays and almost never returns call. I have been trying to pay the bill for over 2 months to no avail, and they keep sending us mail saying our payment is overdue… yet we can’t pay it. The meritus online portal doesn’t work with this office and no one can help me except the woman who is never there and takes forever to return calls. When she is there, she doesn’t answer. They also took over a year to bill us. My husband had a bad experience with the doctor (Dr. Patrick Dennis) and was scared out of receiving the surgery he needs. It was something he was apprehensive about to begin with and the doctor made him feel worse, not better. No bedside manner, rude demeanor, and does not care about patients. Avoid this office at all costs.
