I had surgery this morning and all of the staff were amazing. Donna is the sweetest admin and was so friendly easing any anxiety at the start. Dr. Sherman did a wonderful job on the surgery. The nursing staff and anesthesiologist were all friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I hope I never have to have surgery but I'd 100% go to them if I needed to!

Incredible experience with every step of the process, especially with the staff. I’m extremely challenging to insert an IV and my hand is the easiest even though it bothers me, it’s my preference. Andrea nailed it on her first attempt without my vein blowing or rolling. I was in and out without any delays or ever feeling forgotten about. The absolute bonus level of service is they brought my husband to me before I was fully alert. I didn’t need to ask or beg anyone to let my supportive husband immediately be at my side. They were very respectful, uplifting and kind. Dr Gary Sherman, even 18 years later, for a different area of my dominant arm, you remain as my preferred and exclusive surgeon for my arms. I appreciate you and appreciate your nursing staff for being true leaders in the healthcare industry.

From the admissions staff, the nurses, to the doctors (Lee and Stonebreaker) everyone works as a team. My son (and I ) were treated with great kindness and calm. I especially appreciate that they have an MD anesthesiologist. That is important.

Susan was my nurse, Holobinko my surgeon, and I forget the name of my MD/Anesthesiologist but they were all fantastic! I also had several interactions with other medical staff where I did not get their name or title but everyone was so compassionate and understanding. I was terrified of anesthesia and I came out on top. They explained the process to me for before/during/after surgery and provided extra gentle care with consideration of my generalized anxiety disorder. I am a fat person and they never made me feel less than or bad about my weight. I would give ten stars if I could.

Thank you everyone at Hagerstown Surgery Center for making our sons surgery a pleasant experience. From checking in to exiting, it was a seamless process. The nurses (Kelly, Kim and Andrea) took great care of our son. Short wait times, friendly staff, clean environment. Definitely would recommend.
