The Leonardtown Surgery Center and its billing contractor were not in sync and caused unnecessary confusion and concern regarding our account. We signed a promissory note on the day of the surgery after a down payment of $1500 with payments due each month for 6 months thereafter. Made the first installment in person after the down payment but just got “an attempt to collect bill” from the center’s billing office. Poor communication between the center and its billing office: either the center didn’t inform its billing office of the arrangement clearly or the billing co. dropped the ball. That’s not our concern. Just make sure everyone is in sync before agreeing to any payment schedule with the center. Hope their error doesn’t affect our credit.

Visited for two procedures recently. Operation seems well organized; lots of communication between medical staff/doctors during procedure. Whole facility seemed very clean both visits. I would definitely come back for outpatient procedures.

I cannot say enough about the experiences my family has had at this center. We have been at the facility 5 times for various reasons. We have been their as a patient or family member. All of the times have been excellent! EVERYONE we have come into contact with has been superior. I would not mind if I had to wait because I know we would be getting superior care. The staff are so friendly, professional, understanding and compassionate. While you are actually waiting for your procedure you hear the other patients being treated with respect. THANK YOU to ALL of the staff.
