After a good nights sleep I woke up and started reading over my paperwork and discovered almost $500 in charges on the day of my surgery from the surgical center !! Absolutely ridiculous! They charged me for two drains they knew should being used at the time of scheduling and for going 18 minutes over surgery time ! So for that they felt it was ok to charge my bank card while I was still not clear minded almost 500 hundred dollars!! I will never have another surgery performed here again !

I was supposed to have surgery at another surgery center. And then it changed to the SurgiCenter. I seen the reviews on here and I was worried. I must say I was very pleased with everyone. From the time I arrived each person I, came into contact with who worked there. They had the utmost respectful bedside manors from the beginning to the end. Very helpful with my questions, they knew I was nervous and did an exceptional job. I would definitely go here again if I would need to. I would like to thank all the staff and my doctor for helping me to have a pleasant experience on a very stressful day. I usually would have to get medicine to calm me down before surgery and this morning was the 1st time that I didn't ask for anything because they had me at ease. Thank you staff, everyone was awesome 👏

I would truly give zeros if i could. They certainly do not show respect to their patients. This is the most unorganized surgery center i have ever seen. I wish i knew the owners/ceo - i have a bit to share with them. I am considering another facility to not have to deal here. Of course means another doctor and i really like my doc.

I was supposed to get my surgery done here less than 24 hours from now. They waited to ask for medical documents they said they needed before I can be approved when I was already approved. So I got upset and asked why they didn't asked for it over a week ago when I spoke to them. I was approved by my actual surgeon my lungs, weight, an blood test were all cleared. Yes I have sleep apnea and they orginally said I'd just need my CPAP mechine. But than they said they can't do the surgery there because I'm a health risk. Isn't this something that's supposed to be determined weeks before surgery not after you've had to take leaves for work and had to have someone take off to drive you back. I've never had a surgery center treat a patient this way. And the way the nurse started the phone call was inappropriate. I'm aware sleep apnea can cause risks but I never hid anything from them. So waiting till last minute to make this call is unethical.

A family member had surgery here today. Everything happened for us the exact way they said it would. They were incredibly kind, thoughtful, timely, and thorough. All-in-all, a terrific experience. On a side note, as an operations professional, my hat is off to how utterly nailed down their front-office systems and processes are. It makes a huge difference for everyone! Thank you, SurgiCenter of Baltimore! I hope we never have a reason to come back, but if we need to, it’s good to know we will be in good hands!!
