I had foot surgery at Harbor Heights yesterday, and I'm thrilled with how everything went! The facility has ample parking, is spotless, and well-organized. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses to the doctors were kind, compassionate, and did whatever they could to ensure I was comfortable. They are also very efficient and were running ahead of schedule, so my surgery actually started about an hour early. In 7 weeks I have to have my other foot operated on, and I'm happy I'll be going back to Harbor Heights for that.

This is a review of the financial aspect. Clinically, they are very good. But they have owed me a refund of over $600 for two months now and they won’t return my calls. DO NOT PREPAY for your surgery. I’m a physician and I know how the system works.

Payment was made in August. Billing department isn't even in the Maryland area. They lost my payment and stated it would take 15 BUSINESS days to look for it. Glad I paid via credit card and have proof so they can not send the bill to collections for their error because apparently this won't be resolved until early October. I will decline care here in the future.

Had an absolutely incredible experience at Harbor Heights Surgery Center. From the time I arrived, the center was clean, timely and well organized. The nurses were so kind and patient and supportive. The anesthesiologist was incredible and explained everything to me in detail and was with me every step of the way. Dr Buchanan is the best surgeon I have been to - he is so patient, explains everything in detail, and I never felt rushed. He helped calm my nerves and so far have been having a speedy recovery. Highly highly recommend Harbor Heights.
