NEW REVIEW: I'm glad SOME people have a good experience here. Not the case for us. And was hoping they had another office somewhere, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Love Dr. Wanner, but just can't get to see him. Today's shenanigans: My husband originally had an appointment with Dr. Wanner for January 26th. Needless to say, due to the snow/ice storm of January 25th, the office was closed. He was informed to schedule another appointment. His new appointment was to be with Dr. Berry, as the office stated he couldn’t see Dr. Wanner until September (totally unacceptable). New appointment was for 11:10 am today (January 29th) with Dr. Berry. He was called by MEA at 8:21 am this morning asking if he could arrive 30 minutes early, as Dr. Berry had a meeting to attend. He stated that he would be there. He arrived at 10:20am (50 minutes early), and signed in. He sat in the waiting room and saw others coming in and being seen with little to no wait. He went to the desk to ask why he wasn’t being called up. It was discovered that no one had noted that he was arriving early. They finally took him to the back around 11:15 to do eye tests and dilated his pupils. Did more tests, then he was taken to a room to wait for Dr. Berry. After yet another lengthy wait, he left around 12:10, without being seen by the doctor. Why was he asked to come in early to NOT see a doctor? This office is the worst! Don’t have an emergency! Husband has been experiencing severe blurred vision in eye where a Intraocular lens was put in by a doctor there in 2022. Have been a faithful patient ever since. Called to get an appointment, and was told already have a follow-up scheduled for January 2026. Don’t think it will get better by then. Out of desperation, went to Optometrist to have them check it out. Scar tissue on the lens. Optometrist called Maryland Eye Associates to try to get an emergency appointment to repair it. Was told earliest availability is June 2026. Really?!?! Looking to find another Ophthalmologist who can see him before he’s blind in that eye. He also called Maryland Eye Associates twice today to have Doctor call him. So far, crickets.

Dr. Marc Berry is someone you want in your court when you experience eye issues. He treated my shingles and subsequent lingering issues with expertise and care. He explained everything thoroughly during each visit and was up front about all outcomes that were possible. Additionally, all staff are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I had a great appointment with Dr. Berry at Eye Associates. He is very thorough, explains what he is doing and what it tells him. Dr. Berry explains his diagnosis in terms that I can understand. He also recommended that I see my primary care physician and let me know the things I should tell him about. As long as you understand that this is not a quick visit and more than likely you’ll be there a while, your appointment will be great!

The wait time was well worth it! This is the kind of care we all deserve!!! I wish he could be my primary care. Thank you so much Dr. Berry you will never know how much this visit meant to me!
