3/25/25 - My husband was advised to arrive at 11am for his colonoscopy appointment. He even called about 30 minutes ahead of the arrival time to confirm the location. We arrive on time and at 12:15 when he still had not been called back (an hour and 15 minutes after arrival), I asked the front desk who eventually let us know that they estimated ANOTHER 30 minutes of waiting before he would even be called back. An hour and 45 minutes of waiting. Absolutely unacceptable in this day/age. We could have been advise that his appointment was being pushed back, but instead, it's easier to have us waiting in a loud and uncomfortable waiting room. Absolutely unacceptable. Will NEVER use this center for colonoscopy or other procedure again.

When I first met with DR DOWD I found him to be a very good listener and teacher re my ongoing “gastro” complaints. He was patient and gave his undivided attention to my ongoing health issues. I was pleased that Dr DOWD was prepared for my office visit. He showed me pictures of previous colonoscopies, [which had been done by a “nearby team” of other doctors], who seemed to “miss the mark” for the treatment of an obvious reddened area of inflammation and pain that I was experiencing… being showed this made me to be a very unhappy person. It also confirmed my reasoning to seek an alternative practice. Nonetheless it was time to move on and I’m glad that I did.

I had a couple procedures done with Dr. Kahn and anesthesiologist Dr. Mark Meyers. The entire staff did an amazing job, my nurse was Demi and tech Victoria. They and the doctors were extremely thorough and caring (I have an allergy and they went above and beyond to make sure everything would be okay). I would recommend this staff 100%. Very thorough and explanatory - I truly appreciate it. I was very happy with Dr. Kahn from my initial appointment! Thank you!

Who writes a 5 star review about a Colonoscopy? Well, I guess I do. So, if you ever need one, then this is probably that best place to get that done. Doctor Dowd is fantastic. It's rare that a doctor takes his time, explains things and doesn't rush through an appointment. But the reason I'm writing this review is the perfect execution by the entire staff at this center. Everything ran like a well oiled machine. The staff and nurses were very nice. Often, when something runs this well, the people are only focused on the business at hand. Somehow they've blended that with being genuinely kind. Great job to the operations manager!

I want to commend and thank the entire staff of the new facility on Baker Road in Concord. Everyone knows that the prep and lead up to a colon screening is uncomfortable and stressful. The team there could not have been nicer, kinder and more caring. Every one of the nurses, the intake staff, Dr. Hammond the anesthesiologist and Dr. Ayala were all nice, sensitive, caring and even funny. If only all medical facilities operated this way.
