I can only say how wonderful my experience was having cataract surgery here yesterday. It was a continuation from my initial appointments with my opthamologists in Johnston, RI. From admistration through Nursing staff, anesthesiologist to my surgeon everyone was pleasant, efficient and thorough with information and making me feel at ease. I was well taken care of by Alex with her email texts of reminders on what i needed to do up to day of surgery, call from my surgeon at end of day after surgery and the call i just received from Nursing staff this morning. I cannot thank you enough for the care I have received.

I had my cataract surgery done at this facility on 7/30/25. I was apprehensive the day of my surgery. However the staff at this facility quickly erased my apprehension. Everything was fully explained to me and I was able to ask any questions which were eagerly answered. I was particularly enjoying all the stunningly beautiful nurses just prior to my procedure. The environment was relaxing , very clean and professional. Jane Cook performed my lens change. I didn't feel anything and I commend her proficiency and ease of speed. Clearly this women is well versed in her tasks. I will be returning to have my other eye done by Jane and I am looking forward to it!

I just had cataract surgery in my right eye done on Thursday 7-17. Left eye is scheduled for 7–31. I can’t say enough about East Bay Surgery Center. Everyone was fantastic and well organized. Dr. Raufi performed my surgery. He’s awesome, and I see a big difference already in 2 days. I went to another doctor last year for a consultation and had a bad experience. I went to Dr. Raufi and am very pleased. Can’t wait for my other eye to be done.

I brought my friend an elderly woman, for cataract Surgery. She had some back pain and chairs didn't help. So we sat in the lobby. And had to wait 2 hours, and we were on time even 15 minutes before. I just don't understand the long delay. Plus the place was crowded. The staff is very nice though. But I think they need to planed according, so there's no long delays. But the Surgery went well very fast. I was very happy about that. Very attentive caring staff. Thanks
