I’ve had 2 surgeries here now. I’ve had a total of ten surgeries at various locations and honestly the most organized professional and amazing team of care there! Both surgeries pre and post op everyone was attentive. This time I informed them about how I become panicked coming out of the anesthesia and when I came too someone was right there calming me down offering water and didn’t panic once as there was someone there and reminded me what happened/what was going on! My first surgery here was during COVID and honestly it couldn’t have been a better experience considering everything going on the care attention I received and the best attempt to keep things as normal as possible was amazing! Highly recommend if you’re ever told you’re having surgery here know you are in great hands!!

I recently had a wonderful experience at the surgical center in Boyne City. From the moment I arrived, till the time I left a few hours later, I received excellent care in a professional manner from the whole staff. Everyone there was efficient and well organized at the same time, being very kind and attentive as they cared for me and that made me very comfortable. I certainly hope I don’t have to go back anytime soon, but if I do need a surgery, I would definitely request to have the surgery at Northern Michigan Surgical Suites.

I brought my son here for a T & A by Dr. Gietzen. Talk about an amazing experience! We were brought in right on time for our appointment. The nurses were phenomenal, they took care of my little guy like one of their own. The surgery was quick, I was able to safely wait in the comfort of my own vehicle reading a book. When my son was awake, I was called in to sit with him. Everyone was very thorough, kind and explained everything to us, from the assistant to the nurse to the doctor to the anesthesiologist. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for being a welcoming crew that took care of us, kept up safety precautions and treated us like your own. My son is healing nicely, lots of Popsicles! Thanks again!
