I have been a patient of Dr. Kovan, for many years now. This guy has saved my life. He performed emergency surgery on a blocked bile duct. He has been monitoring my liver chirrosis and has kept me living for additional years now. You have to choose Tri-County Gastro. The doctors and staff there , are exceptional !!

Had a scope via the Kovan guy. Ended up being diagnosed with GERD. He wanted to prescribe a basic med for GERD/Acid reflux. I had to ask about side effects, his response didnt fit my liking. Throat was sore from the scope a few days. Years later, went to a different doc, in which I literally had no throat soreness after a scope. I would say he likely rushed the scope and wasn't focused enough on his craft. I would say do your diligence in choosing your provider.
