Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

ColonoscopyA flexible camera examines the full length of the colon to screen for cancer and remove polyps before they become cancerous. Done under sedation, it typically takes 30 to 60 minutes. The bowel prep the day before is the part most patients find hardest.Upper Endoscopy (EGD)A thin camera passed through the mouth examines the esophagus, stomach, and the first part of the small intestine. Used to investigate persistent heartburn, difficulty swallowing, unexplained bleeding, or abdominal pain. Usually takes 15 to 30 minutes under sedation.Flexible SigmoidoscopyExamines the lower portion of the colon only, rather than its full length. Preparation is lighter than a full colonoscopy and sedation is sometimes unnecessary, but it cannot detect problems higher in the colon.Capsule EndoscopyYou swallow a vitamin-sized camera that photographs the small intestine as it passes through — a region that standard scopes cannot easily reach. There is no sedation and no recovery. The capsule passes naturally, and images are reviewed after the fact.ERCPCombines endoscopy and X-ray imaging to diagnose and treat blockages in the bile and pancreatic ducts, most often gallstones stuck in a duct. Unlike a routine endoscopy, it carries a meaningful risk of pancreatitis afterward, so it is used when treatment is likely rather than for screening alone.Hemorrhoid TreatmentShrinks or removes swollen veins in the rectum and anus using rubber band ligation, injection, or surgical removal depending on severity. Banding is quick and typically requires no anesthesia; surgical removal is more effective for advanced cases but recovery is noticeably more uncomfortable.

I came here November 2025 for a colonoscopy with Dr. Brushaber. I was kind of skeptical at first because of all the negative reviews for this place, but, my experience was great !! Staff was professional , helpful and nice. Dr. Brushaber talked to me before and after my procedure and answered all of my questions and concerns. The only complaint I have is no cell phone service while in the building and WiFi was not working, but , other than that, 5 stars !!!! Thank you for excellent service and I will be back in 5 years

Ended up getting an endoscopy last year because it was recommended. They didn't find anything wrong with me. I had no idea how much it was going to cost and wouldn't have done it if I knew. It costs way too much for nothing to be wrong. The office refuses to negotiate on the bill and it has been sent to a aggressive debt collector who also refuses to negotiate on the bill. There's no way I can afford to pay this and when talking to the debt collector they are too rigid with payment plans and don't offer a plan I can afford.

From the moment we entered the Center, it was all professionalism. The personal attention, friendliness & explanations of procedure starting with all staff members to nurses and physicians was the best I've ever encountered. Excellent facility and highly recommend.

Good experience. I was nervous going in because they had bad reviews. Eleven people took care of me in about 2.5 hours. (2 Dr., 1 CRNA, 3 RN, and 7 others) Thank you all. (As I was wheeled in, the next patient that was supposed to in pre-op was not even there, I heard the commotion that is caused if not on time...) Prepared as instructed. I was there as scheduled. They run the place like clockwork. You have to have a trusted driver. I'll come back when needed. In 10 years . God allowing! 🙏

I wish I could give more stars. I went in today for an EGD procedure, like anyone I was super super nervous, and just anxious. When I went back I was instantly taken care of. All the nurses and anesthesiologist were so good to me & made me feel like home. It was fast, quick & most importantly I would do it again if I needed to without feeling scared. Thank you all for treating me with such care & making me feel so secure and comfortable. I appreciate you all & I would 100% recommend them to anyone with anxiety issues, trust me. They know what they’re doing.
