Billing is BAD. Dr.Gupta was excellent may be in network. But, this place where he does the surgery isn't. You find out two days before your eye surgery when you and your loved one has taken the day off work to be here. Their not prompt with doing pre authorization. Not to mention you've brought the medication already that's not cheap even with your copay to start taking the day before the surgery that's required. I've phoned and asked how much is the surgery if I pay out of pocket over $ 2,000.00. I think that's how they make their money here. Another reviewer was right. Their billing sucks. Must do your homework and make sure this location is in your network first, if you have health insurance. Never heard of a doctor in network and their surgery center isn't. smh :( Update: I had to do their work and verify my own health insurance making sure this place was in my network.Yes this place was in network. They didn't check to see the other name it fell under as an umbrella. Dr. Gupta is excellent I give him 5 * stars. Billing needs to act as more of a patient advocate and go the extra mile.

Facility was clean and comfortable. Staff was very congenial, professional, and thorough. They explained what they were doing, going to be doing, and what would happen in surgery (cataract). They demonstrated sincere concern for my welfare and all I saw them interact with.

I recently had my cataract surgery with Dr Switch. I have been very happy with my overall experience. Melanie was with me the most and she was very kind and supportive which helped ease my nerves. Liz was also great and professional. I would definitely return as needed.

Never having had eye surgery before, my concerns were definitely present. All I can say is that I can’t imagine a better appointment. The office staff was professional and courteous with up to date technology. The ladies who took it from there to prepare for surgery couldn’t have been better. Thank you Denice, Karen and Ginger (I believe was her name,) you were excellent, friendly and caring! After searching two years for a ophthalmologist I would feel comfortable with, Dr. Akler was well worth the wait. Her expertise is well known and I couldn’t have been in better hands.
