Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.
Breast Augmentation / ReductionBreast size is increased by placing implants, or decreased by removing breast tissue and skin and repositioning the remaining tissue. Reduction is often performed to relieve back, neck, and shoulder pain caused by breast weight.RhinoplastySurgery that reshapes the nose by altering the bone and cartilage beneath the skin. It is performed to change appearance, to correct breathing problems caused by internal structure, or both. Swelling takes months to fully resolve.FaceliftLiposuctionFat is suctioned out from beneath the skin through small tubes called cannulas, reshaping a specific area such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs. It targets localized deposits and is a contouring procedure rather than a method of weight loss.Wound ReconstructionRebuilds skin and underlying tissue where a wound is too large or too damaged to close directly. Surgeons move nearby tissue, or transfer skin and muscle from elsewhere on the body, to cover the defect. Often follows trauma, infection, or cancer removal.Skin GraftingHealthy skin is taken from one area of the body and transplanted to cover a wound or burn elsewhere. Both the graft site and the donor site need care, and the donor site is often the more uncomfortable of the two.

I always have a great experience here! The staff is always very nice, polite and compassionate. Very neat and clean. They have changed my life from a few spinal epidural injections and ketamine infusions. I hope to one day take you up on your offer to teach all the fun brain science I have learned to help control my chronic pain alongside your treatments to help others on this journey.

Good Afternoon! The class has earned a STUFFED ANIMAL day on Friday to celebrate their positive behavior! Students can bring one stuffed animal. The stuffed animal needs to be able to fit in their backpack. Please be sure that the stuffed animal is clean. We want to share our stuffed animals not germs. :). My 6-year-old daughter received a teddy bear for h|r AND her sister after recieving care from Lakewalk Surgery Center I recommend not losing services here as I find the staff very kind with attention to detail and no judgement's placed. Regarding all areas and care treatment options.

I give this place and their entire staff a million stars! They have a great team. From the moment I walked in, to being prepped for surgery (Stephanie) then heading into the OR with the anesthesiologist (Jesse) along with the sweet OR nurses (didn’t get their name) it was amazing care. Dr Sarah Crandall from Northland Plastics was my surgeon. She knows her stuff, her confidence was impressive and she understood exactly what I wanted. They provided a ton of humor which really helped the anxiety. The rooms were clean and bright. The team made me feel like family, and truly put my comfort first. Thank you Lakewalk! If I could give you all more stars I would! Highly recommend. Thank you all.

We took my 3 year old son here to have dental work done and I have to leave a review to tell everyone how amazing they were with him. We had Dr Robinson and she was incredibly amazing with him to make him feel safe. Everyone there was incredible and when everyone told us he was going to have teeth pulled, she didn’t pull them because they were good enough to save. I don’t think a lot of dentists would do that. I just cannot recommend this place enough for small children. It’s a hard experience to go through but I’m glad we did it with them.

From entering the office in the morning to exiting the facility late that afternoon, the entire experience was outstanding! The admitting rep was friendly and helpful. The nurses and anesthesiologist were amazing. They explained everything with great detail. The surgeon, Dr. Momont took his time to explain the surgery. We asked a ton of questions before and after, and everyone gave us their undivided attention. We commented on how there must not be much turn around in the staff because we can tell people were happy to work there. We definitely recommend Lakewalk Surgery Center!
