I've been passed around to every specialty since I was an infant, countless hospital stays and office visits and lab draws- so I tend to have a lot of patience and understanding. Especially since I work in an adjacent field of phlebotomy. The staff here are very kind and competent, I have no complaints. Except for one. I'm not sure if they have more than one anesthesiologist but the one who spoke to me was unpleasant enough to make me completely abandon treatment here and to bring down my review by three stars. I was scheduled for an endoscopy but unfortunately when I arrived and got ready it became apparent there had been some mix up in communication because the team was unaware of my health history with heart complications and so they didn't want to do my procedure outpatient. This was disappointing to be sure but I understand miscommunications happen especially since I get my care at Allina and MNGI is a separate entity that doesn't automatically have access to all my medical history on demand. But then the anesthesiologist was sent in to talk to me specifically. He was deeply unpleasant and condescending. He smacked his lips incessantly and talked down to me as if I had personally offended him by having the health history I do. Or as if I had been somehow purposely keeping it a secret. He told me to get dressed (since I had been fully prepared for the procedure) in an incredibly scornful impatient tone that I found just gross in a way I can't fully articulate through text. Again, all the staff here are lovely. But that one anesthesiologist experience has completely scared me off from getting any more care.

Excellent colonoscopy care at MNGI in Eagan I had a colonoscopy at MNGI in Eagan and it was a 5★ experience from start to finish. The billing team was fantastic helping me navigate a transition into COBRA coverage. They answered questions clearly and made sure I understood what to expect financially before the procedure. Dr. Sanders brought a calming, light, and genuinely caring presence to the entire appointment. The procedure went smoothly, three polyps were removed, and he explained everything clearly before and after. Every staff member I interacted with was respectful, professional, and seemed to take pride in their work. My pathology results came back in just one business day, which far exceeded my expectations. Getting good news that no cancer was found, and not having to wait in limbo for a week or more, was a huge relief. There was also an issue with my original prep kit shipment (no tracking and I live in an apartment, so package theft was likely). I ended up driving to the clinic to purchase a second prep kit, and when I reached out about the missing first one, MNGI refunded me the full amount with no hassle. That follow-through and fairness meant a lot. A colonoscopy can feel daunting, especially with a family history of colon cancer (my dad was diagnosed at 40), but MNGI made the process quick, easy, professional, and welcoming. I felt cared for and safe every step of the way. I highly recommend MNGI in Eagan for anyone needing a colonoscopy or GI care.

My friend who works in healing gut and mind health told me that there is nothing gastrologist can do but somehow I thought there must be something but 👎🏻 nope , they just take blood work, ask if u have rectal bleeding and send ya home..they’re so lucky to get paid for health issues that are in one’s head. Still, I would’ve liked to have at least a prescription to Metamucil or miralax to get it covered by my insurance, next time I’ll just insist. well went for the endoscopy and it came and inconclusive —so just like I was saying earlier if you’re going through stress it’s better to take a breath and talk to your therapist. or go to the ER and request they give you lidocaine it’s a little pink concoction that they give you when you’re struggling with acid reflux.

Don't go here! Scammers. Went here years ago and they diagnosed an issue. Went back now to have it checked again and they made me do a colonoscopy even though they already knew they problem. Then charged me the entire thing because they claim I requested it!! Then they say they will contact me about the bill after they hear from the insurance. Nothing....then collections call me and are arguing with me they would talk to them everyday so that is for something different. No idiots it's not. They send 4 bills for one visit. Then make you sign in to each thing separately. Its a mess and ridiculous and I would never go back there!
