I’ve been with Nura for a couple years now. They are really good at listening to you and managing your pain. I have a pain pump and am managed in other ways with medication and procedures as needed. Sierra has been a blessing and really listens to her patients. I’m grateful. I’ll never been pain free, but Nura helped me get to a point of functioning again. Thank you.

Dr. Foster is amazing. He listened to all my concerns always. He made the best plan that works for me and most of all never judges or put off my concerns. His staff are also very calming and welcoming and always have been. Feels amazing when you have severe anxiety to have such an understanding and supportive team.

United Pain Clinic in Saint Paul had to suddenly close its doors in July, so I had to scramble to find another pain provider as good as they were. I saw the commercials on TV for Nura, so they were the first ones I called, and I'm so glad I did! They got me in within 1-1/2 weeks, which was awesome! I first saw Dr. Studt, and he was very knowledgeable and kind, and he listened to everything I had to say and came up with a treatment plan. I've had one round of trigger point injections given by Dr. Bettendorf. She was absolutely wonderful and made me feel at ease. I've also had pool therapy with Mardel, and I absolutely love her! I see Sheng Person, a CNP, and she's been great! We tried a new medication because I've been on my old one since 2016, and it wasn't as effective as it used to be. She says that sometimes switching up meds can help, and she was right! I saw another provider yesterday, Sierra Cash who is a CNP, and she was really great, too. I had forgotten to ask her if I could have my prescription filled on Sunday instead of Monday, so I called and the nurse sent her a message. She was so busy yesterday that she wasn't able to get to it (completely understandable, it was really, really busy that day!), and she wasn't in today, so when I called today to ask about it, the nurse asked another provider if they could do it. Since I'm not the other provider's patient, they weren't comfortable enough to okay it. I understand and I'm not upset at all. I should have been better prepared with the question written down so I'd remember to ask while I was there. Next time, I'll have all my questions written down so I don't forget anything I need to ask! :) I have a round of injections coming up next week (MBB to see if RFA is an option), and another round (epidural steroid injections) on the 26th. I am confident that Dr. Bettendorf will have me feeling better in no time! I also plan to start pool therapy again after I have the RFA done if I'm a good candidate for it, so I can keep my core muscles strong and not have to worry so much about injuring myself if I decide to start playing pickleball next summer. I'd absolutely love to go downhill skiing again, but that miiiiigggght be pushing my luck, being that I have 4 bulging discs in my lumbar spine, some stenosis, and some annular fissures along with a left knee injury, arthritis, and fibromyalgia. A girl can dream, though, lol. I miss skiing and I'd love to go just one more time. I'm doing everything in my power to stay mobile and active and working full-time, and I have faith in the providers at Nura that I'll be able to do it for many, many years to come! I'm a fighter, and I'm not gonna let this pain take my life away from me. We only live once, and we should make the most out of every single second of every single day. It feels good to have these wonderful, caring people in my corner, willing to duke it out by my side! Thank you to everyone at Nura, from the front desk staff to the providers! You are a godsend! The mottos I live by are these: Yesterday is history, and tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why they call it The Present. It's always darkest just before dawn, but dawn is coming. It always has, and it always will. You just have to ride it out to stand in the light once again.

I chose this clinic based on their TV ads. That may sound silly but when you've been in pain for 20 years and haven't figured out the source and the solution, you'll do anything. Not only does this clinic not emulate what they portray on television, but it's the exact opposite. I missed an injection because they needed imaging and they told me the imaging clinic would be calling me. Imaging clinic never called. I've called back numerous times to get help and all they do is put the responsibility on me, the patient. My second visit was very good. I thought I was actually going to get some help and relief. The first visit was horrible. I was there 5 minutes. They had me walk 4 ft. Didn't touch me. Didn't examine me nothing. UPDATE: 10/10/25 Rayus, who they MUST have a monetary agreement with, was told to schedule an MRI for me - that was SIX weeks ago! The patient advocate, Vera, even after telling her I want a referral to a DIFFERENT imaging place and refuse to go there, just called me back and said Dr. Schultz would send a THIRD referral to Rayus. Literally, unbelievable. They take their partnership and monetary relationship with Rayus more important than they do their patient care. And, if you note their response to my initial review, NOBODY EVER CALLED ME TO MAKE IT RIGHT. The staff needs to take a refresher course in both the Hypocratic Oath and bedside manner. It almost seems as though they forgot that they are an actual PAIN clinic. I didn't go there for an annual physical. I went to Nura because I'm in extreme PAIN, but they don't care. EIGHT WEEKS of wasted time spent trying to get help for pain and now starting all over again. Needless to say I will not be coming back to Nura. This has been a horrendous experience. I'M DONE.

I chose 3 stars only after reading the reviews, to be clear I have never been to this clinic. Just seeing how they respond to negative patient reviews with a dull, distant and obviously copied canned responds says it all to me. They only reward good reviews. And the fact they asked a recent patient to change their review speaks volumes! I am disappointed, I had hoped they were different. Maybe they are great for basic care but they advertise advanced care. I think courage center is a better choice with proven results. Again, I have never been to this clinic, just wondering what the heck? Also, I know all about fake reviews, ect.. It seems like they are not as advertised. 😏 Get better Dura. Hoping all you pain patients find relief. 🙏 I have lived with chronic pain for 35+ years. It's frustrating to say the very least.
