I recently had surgery here and I had a great experience. The nurses were so nice and made me feel absolutely so comfortable. The nurses even helped me put my piercings back in after surgery which they didn’t need to do at all! . They were absolutely fantastic

Where should I start with High Pointe? all the communications? the phone calls a week or so before the surgery? or how well they treated me from the moment I wanted in, to preparing me for the surgery and afterwards? they were awesome! they did call before the surgery to make sure I was getting my pre-op physical and when, just to make sure all the ducks were in a row, the day of surgery, they walked me back to the room, talked to me as if we were going for coffee not rushed, didn't treat me like a number, all very professional but yet personable.

I am 65 and needed a rotator cuff repair. I have sensitivities to certain surgical drugs and I tend to wake up paranoid and nauseous. From the beginning, High Pointe kept me well informed with reminders and updates. I knew what to do when so as to avoid surgical conflicts with food, meds, and supplements. The staff were all excellent, efficient, and friendly. I felt safe and well cared for. I had plenty of time with the anesthesiologist to discuss my concerns. I woke up as well as can be expected from a surgery without significant nausea or anxiety. I had no post operative pain for over 24 hours which is usually the worst time. I have been post operation now for 2 weeks and still no complaints. My experience was definitely 5 star.

Was nervous about going to a Surgery Center over a hospital. That was a waste of energy! I had great communication before the procedure, knowing what to expect regarding my visit. Nurses, Anesthesiology, Discharge Team were all spectacular. As it turns out I felt much less like a “sick person” in this environment than surgery at a hospital. I’m thankful my Urologist has High Pointe Surgery Center on her list of options for kidney stone removal.

The entire staff was incredible. From the receptionist at check in to the discharge nurse. Everyone was very friendly and kind. They communicated every detail of the process of my surgery. The anesthetist and his nurse came in to speak with me in Pre-Op and were both very though in explaining the process for their role in my surgery. Dr. Tareen and his team from Minnesota Urology was amazing. This was my first experience at High Pointe. It was a very positive experience from check in to discharge. Thank you to the entire staff for your wonderful care.
