Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

I am in and out of a lot of medical facilities. This one not only has great doctors, but it is by far one of the cleanest and most efficient operating surgery centers.

Had surgery here and left with blue pieces of towel glued to my head for weeks. Tried reaching out to their "leadership" but never heard back regarding this issue. I now received a collections bill which they will not work with me on. Horrible service all around.

I've had 3 back surgeries at other facilities in 2 different states. My 4th was here in Maple Grove and was by far the best care and treatment I have received. Nursing staff is excellent. Sweetest, kindest, most caring group of ladies. The surgical staff deserves a shout out as well. Everything was explained in detail. Dr. Abbasi and his crew are miracle workers!
