Brought my son in for dental surgery last month, the surgery went great! No surprises and was exactly as predicted by the dentist. However, after my sons surgery two nurses rolled him in and he was in and out coming off of anesthesia, he flailed his arms not even aggressively and the one nurse grabs his arm holds it down and squeezes it and starts sternly talking in his ear as she’s continuing to squeeze his arm and scolds him, mind you he wasn’t even fully conscious. Prior to his surgery they gave me a good faith estimate for 6,000$ for the surgery, then they changed it to 13,000$ after the surgery was complete. When I asked why they told me it was because it was quoted for x teeth not x, even though it was in the treatment plan sent over. I even have the treatment plan I got from my dentist that says that. The surgery went exactly as planned and yet they are claiming that wasn’t the plan and to take it up with my dentist. I call them and they confirmed it was all in the treatment plan and they called over and talked to the billing specialist at the surgery center. Then the dentist called me back and told me they (surgery center) are still going off of the original treatment plan that was sent weeks before the final treatment plan was made and sent to them and that they were basically saying I signed up for that and they expect payment etc. They have offered me no solutions and no assistance financially or plan, just putting the blame on others. I understand surgery cost can go up if there are surprises or extra things, but there wasn’t. So for it to go from 6,000 to 13,000 is not realistic (unless of course they are going off of the wrong treatment plan, which I shouldn’t be liable for).

Extremely helpful staff Adjusted their delivery of questions when patient had a hard time hearing… very accommodating to make sure patient was taken care of… Interacted conversation, letting patient share something that he wanted to say. It wasn’t all about the strict schedule or time, he was very relaxed…

Staff was absolutely wonderful but the billing is ridiculous! I have been making steady payments since my surgery and you would’ve thought they way they hound you about the bill you owed them millions! Received 2 texts within minutes of each other stating my bill was past due and if I didn’t pay within 7 days they were going to take further action. I will absolutely avoid using them again at all costs going forward. Centra are at least provides you with an interest free option to pay their bills until they are paid off.

I can’t express my positive experience with the staff enough! The anesthesiologists were exceptionally caring due to my allergy concerns and I am grateful for their care. The nursing staff was lovely and thoughtful!

I can’t thank St. Cloud Surgical Center enough for the best care I have ever received in my entire life. Way better than the care I have ever received in California that’s for sure. All the nurses & staff on my care team were absolutely amazing. They made sure I was warm, not in pain, helped me get dressed even stopped by a flower box and let me pick out a pretty flower before I wheeled out the door to head home. They also make sure to keep your designated driver (my partner) informed about everything including the doctor coming and speaking to my partner about how surgery went and what the outcome was. This was one of my main concerns due to prior surgeries I’ve had in California. In California the doctors talk to you not long after and I can’t ever remember even talking to them or even seeing them for that matter. Here they really care about you as a person to the point that I was just completely blown away. This is how people should be treated, & I think other doctors/provides/hospitals/facilities should definitely take a page out of their playbook. Humanity goes along way and they restored some of that for me today. If everyone was like this the world would definitely be a much better place. Thank you all so much, I am so grateful that I was sent to your facility! To any future patients, if you have a choice to choose then you should pick this facility without a second thought.
