Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

Highly advise to avoid this place. Went with this company because an open MRI was needed. The scheduler asked plenty of questions about this, yet still scheduled me at a clinic without one. It was an hour and a half away and we didn’t find out until we got there. The front desk immediately caught on and was very kind. Sounds like this is an ongoing issue. We rescheduled at a different RAYUS location with the right machine, but had to reschedule. Two days before my appointment, I picked up the phone to call RAYUS and saw a text from them giving me options to confirm, reschedule, or cancel. I chose reschedule. Same text was received the next day. I chose the reschedule option again. Both times I received a prompt to call to choose a new date/time. I called a few days later and was lectured and hung up on for not rescheduling 24 hrs before. Per the scheduler, appointments can only be cancelled over the phone. They could not or would not remove me from the texting lists. I looked up their reviews and was horrified. I suggest anyone looking go anywhere else. At least visit the BBB website and peruse the complaints.

Everyone from the billing department, scheduling to the radiologist and technician- they were excellent! I have never received such great care from a medical entity. Mohammed, Heather, and Diane were all really great in making sure I had results in a timely manner. I will be sending friends and family this way!

The staff were very kind and did all they could to make me comfortable. They were really helpful in every way. But sadly this was just an unusually painful experience for me because of my medical conditions and the way I had to lay flat on my back for a pelvic MRI. I was in about level 8 out of 10 pain the whole time because my medical conditions and my aging body simply couldn't tolerate laying in that position without feeling pain. The staff truly tried to do all they could to make me comfortable.
