Not sure why there is only 2.8 stars rating. I got the gastric sleeve with Dr. Wesley Girod. Leshawn is my nurse and Joshua Hammonds is my nurse practitioner. They have been amazing to me! I started at 263 lbs and less than a week later I’m now 246. They gave me very thorough instructions to follow for after my sleeve, and they took great care of me in this process. They are also affordable if paying out of pocket, comparable to going to Mexico. I’m very grateful for them and they did a great job on me. Very happy I chose this location.

Im not sure what happened for others but for ME today I had an absolutely professional experience with a laser stone removal. Nurses were GREAT, Staff GREAT, Dr. MOORE was exceptional. As a veteran and a county Veteran Service Officer all these experiences will enable me to assuage any worries my vets have regarding procedures at Southern Surgery.

The receptionists and the ultrasound techs are extremely unprofessional and rude. I was scheduled for an ultrasound on my kidneys and have to have a full bladder. I had to pee really bad after waiting 30 minutes now over an hour I was told I could reschedule. Um I took off and I’m having real issues. They did blood work 3 days before and results comes back that the lady didn’t draw enough blood which I know to be true because she didn’t want to stick me again because I told her that arm didn’t work well. I’m highly disappointed ☹️

Dr. Debra Azar has been nothing but exceptional in helping me with my prostate over the last few years. I had three surgeries Dr. Deborah performed and she made sure they were painless as possible. I have no close friends or family members to help watch me with first 24hrs after surgery, they allowed me to stay over night at the hospital (Merritt Wesley) to monitor me. Also big thanks to Hope Pittman NR and her staff for all their help and knowledge, they made my life better. I would highly recommend them. Thx again.
