I initially set up a payment plan with this surgery center for $119/month over 6 months in person at the center. Later, I received an email notice that my balance had been updated to $105, and I was given the option to adjust my payment plan. I changed it to $35/month for 3 months and paid one month via the portal. I was unaware that the email came from a third party collection that helped this center pay bills. Despite updating my payment plan online, the center still charged me $119 on 8/19. More than my actual balance at that point. When I contacted them, they acknowledged the error and said they would refund my card within 5 business days. That never happened. Instead, they issued a check, which wasn’t even sent out until 9/16. Nearly a month later. This whole process has been very frustrating, unprofessional, and unnecessarily drawn out. It’s unacceptable to take more than owed and delay refunds. The nurses were kind, but the business staff was not always kind. Not very good at accepting accountability. The front office staff was kind also.

8/19/2025: From intake to exit, the patient care here was wonderful. I really appreciated the privacy of my own room, tucked away but in close range of professional eyes always scanning, always in motion. The rooms were impeccably clean and fresh. Every member of staff that interacted with me was friendly, highly talented in their respective fields, and very caring and helpful. Exceptional facility. A+++++

We just had our 15 month old get ear tubes in both ears here at Frontenac Surgery and Spine with Dr. Forsen. I can’t say enough good things from checking in to post op! We arrived at our scheduled time 6:45am and Traci who did registration was so nice and comforting. I had forgotten my license and she was very helpful with my options. She also was sweet and understanding with a wiggly baby on my lap! From there we waited maybe a couple minutes to be called back and the nurse was also so helpful and offered to carry my things. We were greeted by all the nurses and doctors who would be in the procedure and they thoroughly went over everything. Every person was so nice and made me feel relaxed especially since it’s the first kiddo I’ve had that went under any type of anesthesia. They scooped up the baby quickly (which I was thankful for so that there wasn’t any time for crying), and I went back to the waiting room where I got automated texts on his progress as well as updates on their main monitor. The whole procedure lasted maybe 5 min and then Dr. Forsen came out to say how it went and post ops instructions. He was very patient and thorough. After about 10 more min I was able to go back and see my son. He was a little cranky from the anesthesia but he was comforted by the nurses and I was able to take him home immediately after. One of the nurses even helped me to my car with the little guy :) From the time we got there and left it was probably a little over an hour. I would highly recommend Dr. Forsen and his team again and again! Thank you for taking care of my baby!

Every single member of the staff was courteous and kind. It was a great experience, considering it was a surgery, from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. I can't imagine better staff being anywhere else. I wish they did every type of surgery! Sarah spent the most time with us. She is extremely knowledgeable and a fantastic nurse! This was the absolute best service we could've envisioned. WOULD RECOMMEND FOR EVERYONE.

Amazing... Amazing... Amazing! This surgery center is by far the best I have been to. The first thing I do when I get to a new place is check the cleanliness of the facility. I did not see not one issue. The place is clean! The staff there is fantastic. I was so nervous before my surgery but Karen (nurse) stayed by my side and kept me calm before I went into OR and was there when I woke up. The whole staff that will have anything to do with you before, during, and after surgery are all fantastic and each one of them come to introduce themselves to you and explain their role in helping you. Each one of them, even Becky at the front desk are so caring and concerned for your every needs. If I am ever in the need to use them again, they will definitely be my first call. Frontenac surgery and spine care staff... thank you all for being a part of something so fearful and emotional for me and making it a great experience! You all are the best!
