Doctors are ok, but nurses and scheduling staff and billing department haven't got a clue. Had one department billing me but not a single person I ever reached on the phone could tell me what it was for. I was advised to ignore it until they then wanted to turn it over to a collection department. They hold your medications hostage until you come see them for a checkup, but they never contact you to tell you that you need to come in, then are very rude when contacted t see what is happening. Very unprofessional staff and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Terrible follow-up - records not sent to referring MD, prescription never sent to Pharmacy- took many tries to schedule an appointment, finally did so I person, however, Nurses and the Dr.’s were wonderful. Scheduling and medical records get a rating of zero. Need a good Administrator and all new non-professional staff.

This review is regarding the Riverside location. Today after being scheduled for an appointment we arrived and were told the appointment was rescheduled for some reason but no real explanation as to why and why we got NO notification. The front desk receptionist is rude. She lacks in compassion and critical thinking skills, which someone in patient facing position should have. The scheduling department offered no explanation or apology and needless to say we won't be returning to this horrible office. Nobody deserves to be treated they way they treat patients here.

Nurse practitioner Bodenstab is genuinely worthless. I went to her in August with being told that I probably have fatty liver disease but not really knowing what that meant. I waited more than a month to get in and to be told nothing about the disease except lose weight. Like a simple google search didn’t tell me that. I was told to go get a certain scan. They had me sit with someone in their office to schedule it and while she was doing that she was also scrolling on TikTok and acted like my existence was annoying to her. I was never called with the results. I had to go find them myself and google what they meant. I’ve never received a follow up call or anything. I essentially paid money to go to a not doctor to tell me to stop being fat and there’s nothing else she could do. No recommending a dietitian and when I asked about weight loss meds she just said we don’t do that here. No referrals, nothing. Bedside manner awful and care was worthless. I’m a 26 year old with a disease that could really damage my life and health and was given no resources. She shouldn’t practice medicine. This was the worst medical experience I’ve had as an adult.

I receive excellent care from the medical staff and non-medical staff at the North Oak Office, KCMO. My G.I. doctor has changed through the years only because they are not at the practice anymore. Currently I have been seeing Dr. Thomas Shireman and I have faith and trust in him where my health is concerned. All the staff are kind, friendly, caring, eay to talk to and professional.
