The staff- everyone from front desk to nurses and doctors - were absolutely amazing. Had to bring my 3 year old in for a procedure and they were amazing with him! So kind, so caring. Amazing medical treatment. Although I hope we don’t have to come back, I’d know we’d be in great hands if we had to!
I can’t begin to tell you how pleased I was with the staff at Landmark surgery center. This is my second time being there, and both times I was a little nervous. They definitely went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible. The IV was inserted with absolutely no pain. They wanted to make sure I felt comfortable in the bed, and they asked if I needed more blankets to keep warm. You are introduced to everyone. The anesthesiologist and his assistant, come in and ask questions. The nurse confirms you have followed pre op instructions. Everyone is there working together effectively and efficiently to make my surgery happen and make the patient comfortable . After I woke up, they continued to make sure I was comfortable and asked if I needed anything. This is a really great group of professionals that clearly care about their patients. I would definitely Recommend them.
Today I went in to have a tubal salpingnectomy procedure (removal of fallopian tubes). I was EXTREMELY nervous but the whole staff made the process from start to finish easy and relaxing. The receptionist was kind and warm to my husband and I, the nurse and the doctors made sure I was aware of what they were doing and what they were going to do, and they gave me something to help me relax because I was shaking like leaf. They are Non judgmental, very patient, super chill, and I woke up to my husband with a Diet Coke ready for me ❤️ Thank you so very much Landmark Crew for making my experience easy and taking good care of me! Dr. Patrick- thank you so much for completing my surgery with care, listening to ALL my concerns, and most importantly- not judging me and my husband for MY decision to have this procedure done to MY body! We need more doctors like you that will listen to Women. I will definitely recommend this Surgery Center and Dr. Patrick for any women seeking out sterilization without judgement from professional, kind, lovely ANGELS!
The surgery center itself is great - 5 out of 5 stars (caring staff, good facility, prompt). Their billing department is AWFUL and not even worthy of 1 star - they overbilled me; didn't acknowledge that I was an authorized user on my non-minor child's account (she signed the paperwork at the surgery center making an authorized person); entered the incorrect amount received from my insurance company; and could not pull up my account from my account number (despite me reading it directly from the bill). EDIT: if you have billing questions, DO NOT call the 877 number on the bill. They did all of the things in the above review. Call the main office number and you'll get much better service. They resolved my issue promptly and notified the 877 number of my complaints against them, therefore, I upped my star rating.
The receptionist was warm and welcoming, attending to all the paperwork and explaining it very well, only took a few minutes. Less than 5 minutes, and I was ushered back for pre-op, really impressive. Nice area to change and get ready for my room. It's really nice to have your own room. Dorey was so nice and professional saying thank you all the time. The warm blanket was so inviting as always when you're in a cold surgery center. Dorey took her time with finding a vein for the IV, which was so fleshing nit getting stuck over and over searching for a vein. First time, and Dorey got it right on the money. The anesthesiologist was so nice and funny to boot, which I desire when he's prepping me for surgery. Of course, Dr. Scott Hardeman was the first to greet me and answer my questions. Joe came in to get me my sedative, and April, I think, was my nurse. Please forgive me if I'm wrong. The entire staff and surgery center were top notch for sure, as most surgery centers scare me as they are always overcrowded. I was so impressed with being second in line to have my surgery, and it was nice, quiet, and quaint with so few people in there that early. Took an hour for surgery and an hour for recovery. I was a happy little camper to get it over with for sure. Can't say enough nice things for everyone who was part of my day. They really soothed my nerves and anxiety I had all night and morning like most patients. I did have a freak problem early in the morning and contacted the on- call doctor. I won't go into the details. Luckily, Dr.Hardeman was on-call for that night. He responded in minutes and helped me resolve it even checked back in 15 minutes, then early morning too.
